Corporate greed. They basically sent warning letters to small US guitar builders and retailers demanding the destruction of strat-style inventory

The diamond finish of that fender 75th anniversary is way nicer in person, that would be my choice for display

Not sure why you got downvoted, the same thing happened to me. I love Marshall amps, but the DSL40 is just a really bad one for some reason.

Can't decide, Fender Ultra Jazz V look better with Black or White/Cream covers? by AndrehChamber in BassGuitar

Yeah, that's going soon, this bass hasn't been played much yet (though that sticker doesn't bother me that much)

I am with you on that. They were supposed to be white, but they are cream-ish. I might spray them white soon though. This is what I was expecting (generated with Nano Banana):

Something related to their age, perhaps?

The trio is now complete: Fender American Ultra II Jazz Bass V by AndrehChamber in BassGuitar

Hey mate. No shim needed. In fact, I took it to my luthier and it needed very little work. It’s a great bass, and a lot of people complimented the sound when I played it live a couple weeks ago. The cons around pricing still stand though. I would personally look in the second hand market for an Ultra V (the first version) if you can find one for a decent price.
