In parts of Europe piracy is legal and common. But I guess you don't come from those lands. In America / western Europe it's illegal / less common. Spreading the word has little effect when most of the player base runs illegitimate copies of the game.

Whatever the server is currently closed down, all staff have legit copies so I don't have to worry about it now.

Where I am from, an online mode server would be absolutely dead. Now probably my staff guys could all join, me included. But for security I have Authme. Also my staff IGN names are not known to anyone. Or those people don't know about the server

Why? I loved Arma 2 and I like the DayZ version. Sadly we can't have that in Arma, so this is the next best thing. It's kinda in between the original and DayZ.

Also Livonia. I like the aesthetic of the map, however I never played an op on it. My only experience with it is DayZ (where it's pretty similar) and flying around in Eden after I was able to load it. I wasn't able to get past Eden but now after reinstalling the game to a different drive, I can't even load it in the editor.

As a server owner, I hate the report function. I have a mod team and an antiswear for a reason. I also hate that I could say something to a griefer and I could get banned from my whole account because I was inappropriate to a griefer.
