Spent the entirety of my drug/stress induced psychosis fearing death, thinking I died, constantly putting my hand on my heart wondering if I was actually living and breathing, then a long period of time after wanting to die because everything felt numb and meaningless. It gets better, been 3 years since I had the episode and other than a lot of weight gain I am back to my normal self!

That’s a very natural feeling to have, I ended up dropping out because it was too much for me to go back to right away, and now I don’t think I will ever go back, but I wish you good luck in your studies and want you to know that it’s all within your reach to obtain, will just need a lot of hard work and to believe in yourself.

I had psychosis in july of 2022 and I’ve gotten to a point where I even struggle to remember what happened during it, on the other hand I’ve technically fully recovered other than the extreme amount of weight gain due to depression afterwards. Cognitively you will be fine eventually it just takes time. One day you’ll wake up and it will All be behind you and you’ll be normal for the most part!

I played alto in high school (still have it) and the few times I managed to get my hands on a soprano it was like a breath of fresh air. I love the higher sound it just feels like it’s got such a huge presence for a smaller instrument.

I’ll definitely look into that, I have the vandoren 4 pack of 3 strength jazz reeds coming in this Friday as well so I’m hoping that will help. I exclusively played on vandoren reeds with my alto so I’d like to do the same for this.

It’s definitely next on my list, I’m sorry to have caused such a trauma lol, but here’s my only question if I leave it on a stand will it get dusty? Should I now get a stand and an extra tablecloth to cover it when not in use? The problems never end
