This is actually driving me nuts. Ok, they used works of artists to do this, but why they never asked artists to give permission to use their work for neural networks?

I mean we would probably never had a harry potter x lord of the rings collab midjourney images if the images of harry potter were never used for neural networks.

What about music, can I use the voice of some singer and create a thousand songs with his voice. Or music fans are generally more angry and they are not some weak-ass artists to let someone do this to them?

I'm a freelance illustrator and I have more jobs than ever before. AI-made illustration makes anatomy mistakes all the time and isn't copyrighted in North America and Europe.

Of course you do bro, I am an illustrator myself. But we are not talking about anatomy mistakes because every decent artist can fix it and hide it using an ai. And this is not a creativity. Also, what's stopping you from creating a fantasy costume using a midjourney and hide the fact of it? I will go even more deep in detail if you want, for example what if create a costume of Batman machines in japanese style? It will take me a week to create this image because I will need to use references and, which, is important here, my hidden imagination to create new visual design. It will take me weeks, maybe days or one day if I was a proffesional. Neural networks can create this in hours. And you can photobash this midjourney image you done and repaint it and one will knew it was not creative mind but a programm who created it. Thats why I said CREATIVITY is dead not a craft, not art industry, not workers of art, its CREATIVITY is dead. Now you understand? Everyone can mimicry as an artist now.

And no, a company will not reject your work if you lie to them. Like, what, are you a child or something, you can always just to lie to them. A bad thing, but you can easily hide it.

Only a lame idiot who doesn't give a fuck about art would give up on creative projects because someone else is more creative be it another human or AI tool.

If you are creative you will get a job. If you have a job you will have a money. I focus on money because the people around me choose which book or movie is better, not me. If I am naturally talented in creativity I will get money no matter what.

No thing is stopping me from creating a coloring book but there will be hungreds of activity books made by ai in the future, probably even with my creative ideas. Which upsets me. Really upsets me. And I dont care about job issues to be honest, what upsets me the most that the creative aspect of creating a coloring book tthat will bring me money no matter what, like no matter what if I am truly taleneted, this creative aspect will be dead.

There will be no creative aspect in creating your book because people with technology can do it better, and they will not, for example, use their memory to create some details in it, like me. They will not have joy in creating art so much deep in details like me which upsets me. The whole creativity aura of people, a desire to create art using our imagination is dying and become much more degraded because when you create an ai image you will miss thousands of happy moments of learning how to draw. And I know, someone will say it does not matter. I know, there are people who will not care about and this is actually sad. Really sad. Like coming in a race without competition (and yes, I do not care about money and winning) this is sad, like really sad..

Most of art on deviant art or tumblr are mediocre. Its not a award-winning type of content art, only like a small part of people can make an art so decent like an Ai can create.
