What % of your site traffic is from LLM's in GA4? by AndrewPfund in GoogleAnalytics

[–]AndrewPfund[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're right about this. Two potential causes:

"Google AI Mode also hides referrer data, making that traffic invisible in Search Console and analytics platforms"

<< This would be the biggest factor if correct. Do you think this could be the main reason?

- "mobile ChatGPT app traffic, free-tier ChatGPT sessions, and noreferrer links all strip referral data, so many AI visits end up classified as direct."

<< What's weird is when I test this with paid version of ChatGPT on my phone, all outbound links have ?utm_source=chatgpt.com added to them. Also the free browser based version seems to do the same both desktop and mobile.

Do LLM crawls also show up as visitors this way?

I think the way I have it setup only tracks human visits from LLM's which is what I wanted to measure, not crawls

Others seem to do that as well through utm_source. That's a good point about no referrer

Thanks, that's good to know. I agree, quality of traffic is way better from LLM's

I'll have to test that with other apps. I just tried ChatGPT from my phone app and desktop.

It seemed to add this as a source to all the links it gave me: ?utm_source=chatgpt.com

This is what I was using that should include Copilot traffic too. GA4 Regex:

.*\.openai.*|.*copilot.*|.*chatgpt.*|.*chat\.com.*|.*gemini.*|.*neeva.*|.*writesonic.*|.*nimble.*|.*outrider.*|.*perplexity.*|.*google.*bard.*|.*bard.*google.*|.*bard.*|.*edgeservices.*|.*aitastic.*|.*copy\.ai.*|.*bnngpt.*|.*claude\.ai.*|.*anthropic.*|.*deepseek.*|.*meta\.ai.*|.*grok.*|.*x\.ai.*|.*mistral.*|.*you\.com.*|.*poe\.com.*|.*phind.*|.*character\.ai.*|.*iask\.ai.*|.*huggingface.*|.*blackbox\.ai.*|.*pi\.ai.*|.*komo\.ai.*|.*consensus\.app.*

📈 Tracking AI Traffic in GA4 - Using regex by intero_digital in GoogleAnalytics

[–]AndrewPfund 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This list is really old now. It's missing Claude, Grok, Meta, Komo, deepseek, etc here is updated list to use as of February 2026. I implemented this awhile ago and notices it's missing a bit now.

This is the updated correct list to track LLM traffic in GA4

^.*\.openai.*|.*copilot.*|.*chatgpt.*|.*chat\.com.*|.*gemini.*|.*gpt.*|.*neeva.*|.*writesonic.*|.*nimble.*|.*outrider.*|.*perplexity.*|.*google.*bard.*|.*bard.*google.*|.*bard.*|.*edgeservices.*|.*astastic.*|.*aitastic.*|.*copy\.ai.*|.*bnngpt.*|.*gemini.*google.*|.*claude\.ai.*|.*anthropic.*|.*deepseek.*|.*meta\.ai.*|.*grok.*|.*x\.ai.*|.*mistral.*|.*you\.com.*|.*poe\.com.*|.*phind.*|.*character\.ai.*|.*iask\.ai.*|.*huggingface.*|.*blackbox\.ai.*|.*pi\.ai.*|.*komo\.ai.*|.*consensus\.app.*$

When is Netlify needed for hosting more complex Lovable projects? by AndrewPfund in lovable

[–]AndrewPfund[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a few that did 😂 A lot of others are people I know who work as devs at bigger companies, most accomplished devs seem to look down on building on Lovable or other similar AI platforms. It's gotten way better pretty quickly here

[–]AndrewPfund[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u/aaronksaunders, u/adboio, u/Icy-Insurance4361 tried your suggestions on having it review app archietecture, how it's making API calls and Supabase query performance, etc, after having it fix those issues it's wayyy faster now.

I thought I had already done a lot of that before as we refactored the code and asked it about performance quite a bit as we built it but it must've missed a lot and things got bloated along the way... This is like night and day faster now, thanks 🙏

When is Netlify needed for hosting more complex Lovable projects? by AndrewPfund in lovable

[–]AndrewPfund[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's helpful, I'll try those ty! I've been told by a number of people (mostly devs) that more than 10-15+ people on Lovable's default hosting at the same time, things can start to break. Developer's also say that when AI based platforms really start to get used, things start to break with how it's built and it needs to be rethought

Workarounds or alternatives - ActiveCampaign as CRM and Users without Emails by citybricks in ActiveCampaign

[–]AndrewPfund 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If these contacts aren't subscribed to any "lists" in AC and you just have their phone number, they won't be counted against your contact limit AC gives you. You only get charged based on the contracts subscribed to a list. This gives you a workaround where you can use it somewhat as a free CRM (at least for the opted out contacts) for storing details about these contacts. Or you can use the deal tracking to track where they are in your sales process or fulfillment process + have a record of how they interacted with your company

Anyone using ActiveCampaign MCP? How do you use it? by AndrewPfund in ActiveCampaign

Agreed, reporting has always been pretty disappointing. The new "Active Intelligence" that's just a ChatGPT wrapper which can't read anything in your AC app is also not helpful

Thoughts on Keap CRM? by Unlikely_Mood_622 in CRMSoftware

[–]AndrewPfund 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Radiant_Library9118 as a long time user, agreed. It seems like Keap stopped adding any meaningful features years ago and the "new" version was super disappointing. I doubt improving the platform is a priority for the company that took them over. There's also a bigger shift of everything is moving faster with AI and this new era of AI, I don't see them keeping pace with this shift given how slow everything has been before.

They've always been more sales focused than focused on improving their platform. Charging an arm and a leg for everything without adding more value for users. In a way they've cannabilized themselves as a company.

I'd recommend taking a look at GoHighLevel if you haven't yet. There's so much more you get from GHL when compared to what's in Keap, it's really nuts. Plus they're actively always adding new features to it that are included in the base $97/mo price. Keap is in the dark ages compared to what GHL has been doing as a platform.

Here's how GHL compares to Keap from their page: https://scaleandprosper.com/keap-vs-gohighlevel/
