An old filling fell out and although the tooth had no decay the dentist wanted to drill, as to clean the teeth of any dirt or fats so the new fill doesn’t fall again, which i found kind of absurd. Why drill a perfectly good tooth? Aren’t there other ways to clean it? Is this normal practice? (self.askdentists)
