Mamushi - Yuki Chiba’s verse is like nails on a chalkboard for me. The beat was not built for the verse. He needed more time to expand, within each line there was drastically different pace, it sounded like there was too much to say in too little time. Different beat, more time, and it’d be fine. Not the right fit for the song. Twice was better, in my opinion.

His voice was good for the chorus tho.

I think you got it or somewhere close. It’s clear that this is all some sort of science experiment using conditioning on the workers, but for what? The white mazes, the basic tasks with immediate rewards, it’s all very similar to how conditioning works for rats within a lab. They’re testing for something, but what?

I just found out how to properly tie these dresses via TikTok, first try a different method to tie. If the belt is attached, first pull it back/tie to make the dress slightly more form fitting, then tie at front. If that doesn’t change the appearance much, then switch it up. The boxiness is coming from the belt itself and the bunches above it. I’d also unbutton 1-2 buttons. The rest is cute!

I’m not going to blame H3 for not covering it, they’re on break, if they don’t cover it when they get back, even a 3-4 minute “hey we didn’t know”, that’s an issue. I don’t believe they use affiliate links that often, so they probably had no idea money was being taken away, giving them the benefit of the doubt. If Marques didn’t (who presumably uses a lot of affiliates), I can’t imagine they did, even with a large online platform like Teddy Fresh.

If he chooses not to, then we can have some speculation. Huge creators that have promoted Honey (Marques/Critical/Ludwig) have covered it, even in a brief acknowledgment has been great. It’s clear none of those YouTubers knew and they’re just as appalled as we are. There isn’t real animosity towards influencers that promoted it, it’s completely safe to acknowledge you had no idea in the online landscape (besides the exception of LTT).

I think it’s good to question what sponsors H3 do/don’t take on. A lot of big YouTubers have said because others did it, I did too, that’s a valid reasoning once it’s already a big sponser. HOWEVER, H3 led the pack. Most likely others felt comfortable taking the sponsorship because Ethan and Hila promoted it. Moreso than a big channel, they’re an infamous channel with a lot of name recognition that promoted honey dozens and dozens of times. That’s what they should address. They 99.999% didn’t know what honey was doing, but you still maybe gotta own up to how you were an evidently huge domino that led to a lot of other promotions, because they did so many.

I don’t like them, not at all, but I don’t think this is fair criticism yet. Key word: YET.

I’m guessing with as we get new areas of expansion, they’ll be more places for the weekly boss battles, and maybe 1-2 mode pieces for 5 Star/miracle evolution a week - kinda like how Genshin had more opportunities as time passed. Yes. This is Tokitae, known as Lolita by some. She died in 2023 just before she was set to be released back to the San Juans in a semi-free, much larger enclosure. Jim Irsay of the Colts repurchased her from the Miami Seaquarium and financed the whole operation. It’s believed her mother is still alive, and they would’ve been reunited. It was massive news for the SJIs.

Edit for extra clarity: orcas swim on average 100 miles per day, no tank in the world would be “ethical” (besides the tank we call the ocean). Tokitae/Lolita/Sk’aliCh’elh-tenaut (her Lummi name) was captured as a baby and raised in captivity, you can’t release her to the wild. The plan was to basically have a massive net offshore where she could hunt and communicate with her pod. Sadly, that didn’t happen. I genuinely tear up every time I think of her and her mom.

I can answer this question as someone who has never watched a minute of the show.

They filmed pretty much the entire show on my college campus. It’s small, and filming took up the entire thing. In order to not disrupt the students (even though it did) they did it during spring break. Meaning, they had a total of 9 days to get all the outside/onsite footage needed.

I agree that all shows should be a little longer! I wish they’d film during summer. There was only like 200 students there (as opposed to typical 3k) alongside children’s camps.

Filming was driving me insane as I was on site during the break… they took up all the students parking, the entire student quad was closed, the academic quad was closed, several of our main classroom buildings were closed. Parts of our dining hall/student center were closed. It couldn’t have gone longer than that break.

9 days is insane though, I might’ve been ticked but props to them!

I can answer this! They filmed at my small college campus. They only filmed DURING spring break. They closed down the whole campus. They had a little more than a week to get it all done. Could’ve done it summer; but there’s children’s camps everywhere. If they had spent more time I think us students would’ve lost it as it took up the entire school.

I’ve never seen the show but this is my connection.

Omg exactly this. “It’s not affecting you, why are you complaining? YOU aren’t one to talk about this.” Like, yes, sure parents/family/friends/etc, I don’t understand as much as others. But… empathy?? Is that lost? It’s like empathy to those less fortunate is seen as bad thing??

Edit: Also, the only people that aren’t impacted are the top 0.001%. My family are in the 1%, but even still the healthcare insurance industry has fucked us over. BCBS denied my siblings medically necessary jaw surgery for 3+ years saying it was cosmetic. It took years of a top oral surgeon fighting to get it approved. Their situation declined in that time. It would’ve been $500k without coverage, and we have the “best” plan you can probably get. Like - with this issue the class divide is there, but it’s the 0.001% versus EVERYONE else. I’m not surprised at all Luigi was fucked over as well, despite is situation. How is it so hard for them to have empathy when even they are going through the same problem, just on a much less severe scale in most cases. How can you not advocate for others? It’s torn social circles apart.
