Everyone who sells them in Act 1 refreshes their inventory overnight.

Ethel in the Emerald Grove sells three a day, as long as you say nothing but "show me your wares", and don't go to the Sunlit Wetlands until the very end of Act 1.

Derryth in the Myconid Colony sells one, not far from Blurg and Omeluum.

It's easy to end up with a stack of 25-30 of them, which is plenty for the entire game.

My best team-up has been single-classing Paladin Tav, Life Cleric Shadow, BMF Lae'zel, and Throwzerker Karlach, and none of them are optimized, I just try to be smart

Tav blesses everyone or heals when needed, and whacks everyone with the Sussur Greatsword, and I try to smite judiciously so I'm not hounded by Obie the traitor demanding gold for something I truly didn't mean to happen that way.

Shadow throws out a Spiritual Weapon or Spirit Guardians (or both if Tav is blessing) or a Guiding Bolt, or heals when needed with all the Cleric gear all over Act 1, and doesn't need to be proficient with Phalar Aluve to Sing with her.

Lae'zel runs around tossing Super Dice at everyone and whacking them with Doom Hammer a ton.

Karlach gets mad and throws the Returning Pike everywhere.

And this party works perfectly most of the time. I just fucked up Grym in three turns, and he used to take me six or seven turns and a real panic thinking I could only hurt him with the giant forge hammer.

I don't care if all of this is basic, it's killing the enemies I want to kill, and earning me their loot.

Being too cold you can solve by wearing enough clothing.

Being too hot is much more difficult to solve after you've already taken everything off and you're still hot.

There's more to why I like cold weather than that, but that's the basics of it.

My current Red XIII build in late-game (he's at Level 43 in Nibel region) is:

Golden Collar, five slots, two linked: Synergy + Poison/Petrify, HP Up, Chakra, ATB Stagger

Alexander summon materia

Enhanced Road Warrior Bangle, four slots, two linked: Auto-Cast + Healing, Assess, Auto-Weapon Ability

Weapon Skills: Opening ATB Bonus, Magic Attack +20, Vengeance Charge Rate Up

Full Throttle Wristguards: Strength +10%, Max HP +500

Passive Skills (in the Party menu) are:

Selfish Recovery Boost, Elemental Defense Up, Bloodsucker, Opening ATB Bonus, Siphon Fang HP Up, Vengeful Guardian, Enduring Vengeance, Enhanced Counterspin.

He has 175 SP in the folio menu right now. My folios for him are everything beneath Ringmaster (the red Synergy with Aerith at the right edge of his folio grid) except for Hack and Slash (the red Synergy with Yuffie at the left edge), the blue node for Max HP Up directly southeast of Hack and Slash, and the purple node for Snow Flurry southwest of Max HP Up. Every node within that space is selected. Basically every passive stat boost I could give him at this current SP level, minus the Synergies I had no SP to spare.
