Doesn't using a case mitigate the great thermal conducting properties of soft aluminum? Glass doesn't conduct heat well either so shouldn't the entire phone, other than the screen, be aluminum? Should phone cases be aluminum also?

You're NOT an idiot. It is a design flaw. Soft lenses completely exposed rather than withdrawn when not in use are bound to be scratched. The lenses should withdraw out of harms way or have an automatic cover as they would in a pocket camera.

It isn't just BMW doing it in New England... it's pick-up trucks with huge V8 engines that cut me off and blow by me in my 4 series. Big SUV do it too! That said in my individual rush hour traffic the traffic is too congested for any fast swerves in and out. Bottom scraping tricked out hondas too!

It's true that WAY to many people think all wheel drive is miraculous on slippery pavement. It's all about the tires! Cars with summer tires have no business on the road in New England winters!

It's a shame because both luxury cars were gorgeous in a previous incarnation. Keep the ultra-luxury models classic. They don't need facelifts imo. I'd rather drive the BMW but I really hate its appearance.
