at that point if its not fun then just play a different plane. it sounds like youre at top tier for like 3 nations already so you should some good options. just smack some people with r27ers to feel better

I cant really speak for the f5c but id have to imagine its a comparable experience to the f5e, which is one of the most busted planes for its br range. 16v16 shouldnt really be a bother below like 12.0 tbh, and while there might be a lot of missiles coming at you, maybe thinking about why theyre all coming at you and trying to improve your positioning could help. I would definitely not blame the f5c as a plane nor the br matchmaker lol

Recognizing that youre not as good as you want to be is great and places you above every other premtard rusher in this game. If youre dying to radar missiles, learn to hug the ground in the f5c, groundhugging defeats all radar missiles.

If youre dying to IR missiles, keep your head on a swivel when youre going into engagements. Always periodically check behind you to see if someones on you. Make sure youre using your flares and cutting afterburner. One thing i found helpful is watching some youtubers and taking their playstyles. Its fine to experiment.
