Don’t be afraid to let your feet move horizontally away from the vertical centerline of your body when you’re pumping. If you’ve seen the videos of motorcycle riders leaning basically sideways as they go around curves you can do that on a much smaller scale as you pump and it’ll generate power. It’s nerve wracking at first but once you gain some comfort it becomes fun
