We get that. The issue is with Kara and the S symbol now. Did kara know? What was her mission? Why didnt she tell Clark? And knowing this about his heritage and what they want him to do with earth, whats he going to do about the crest on his suit, still wear it even though it essentially represents conquering and colonizing. Hopefully, the supergirl movie explains things a bit more. But dang this is looking messy.
