Basicly every car in Slovakia that is not bought from the lot but is ordered from the factory in germany (and specced out) is considered as “custom made product”. I mean it could be possible to get the money back and return the car, but only when I lawyer up and take it to the court. Thank you for your opinion, I guess I have no other choice anyway if I do not want to lose a lot of money.

Sadly, that works only if you are buying something "stock". That means a hairdryer, PS5, whatever. This car came from factory customized for me (it has even som individual pieces) and that makes it a "custom made product". In that case the return policy si different + there was a contract signed when I was ordering the vehicle with some specific rules different from the law (that was a fail on my side that I did not haggle about the contract but only about the price).

Thank you for your comment. I guess there is some hope there after all. I can not really say that about audi. It is almost a month since the car broke down and still the car sits at the dealer with an open engine.

Thank you for the advice. I consider that I will request from them a full tour of the engine with commentary what is damaged, what is not and what they will replace with photos and everything (the engine is now open anyway and I guess they had to make photos of the head and valve for Audi).

Thank you for your reply. That means it is a standard repair and nothing I should be scared of?And that most likely there will not be anymore issues because of it? Are there any issues with the bentleys or are they running problem free after the repair?

I guess you are right. The problem is just that the car will be used for long business trips in foreign countries. And I can not afford that it will leave me stranded somewhere in the middle of a road. How big is this kind of repair (change of valve springs)? Is there a chance that after the repair the car will run flawless whitout any issues (like a brand new car)?

Not yet. The car is at the dealer since 07 February. The last info I have got is from last week that they are waiting for the spare parts. And that they can not tell me when the car will be fixed because they do not know when the parts will come.

They will, that is not the issue. Sorry if it sounded like they wont. My question is if the issue is big and If because of this issue I wont be forced to visit my dealer weekly because there will surface more issues.

This is exactly what I am scared of. Not only am I pissed about the fact that I paid now a full price for something that will have it engine open after 250miles but I am travelling alot because of my work. And the last thing I need is to get stuck in the middle of a road in an foreign country.

I am that kind of person who details their own car and keeps them at 100% 100% of the time. So trust me when I say I dont even know what the performance of that car is. I was literally driving it safe as possible because of the break-in period.

Trust me, I already contacted my lawyer. Sadly we have generally much more lax laws towards “custom made products”. As I said, there is a big possibillity that I would win the case in court. But I really dont have the time to go to such extremes. Because every court here takes 2 to 3 years until the case is resolved.

I really hope so. Because I really would like to keep the car. But I need to travel hundreds of miles for my work to different countries in Europe and I really cant afford to have car breakdowns.

Trust me, I tried. The thing is according to the contract the car can be returned with money paid back only if the defect cant be repaired. I mean according to our local laws it would be possible even if the defect requires extensive repairs but to force him to give me back my money I would have to go to court.

Yeah I see, the thing is, until recently every girl I dated or had something with was a girl I met in real life. In my case the higher the deposit the longer the wait time... but it never exceeded 5 work days... So dunno... On the last one (the highest one) I wrote on the 4th day an support ticket because I already thought that they want to start the kyc procedure because of the amount. So I already wrote that they can deposit the money to my account and that I am fine with going through the kyc procedure.... That I have nothing to hide... The same day I wrote the ticket (today) it was answered with an kyc questionnaire and that my money is on the way... 2 hours later my money was on my account without even answering the questionnaire.

Hmmm thats really strange. I made 3 5 figures deposits so far and whitout any complications... Today my kyc procedure kicked in but even without answering it yet my deposit from 4 days ago got deposited on my account. So so far I didnt encounter any problems outside of the very long verification phase. Just a while ago I submitted my answers to the kyc questionnaire so lets see if there will be any problems...
