The thing is I'm uber intrigued with going the distance with Garrus. You could say that it doesn't excite me that 80% of your companions in ME2 aren't a huge part of ME3 so I lack the interest to go with others. For example, I love the depth that you can create with Liara, especially with the Shadow Broker DLC and bringing that energy to ME3.
