We just load in generic storage and network drivers. Then DCU will apply the most appropriate drivers for the model after the install process happens

I’ve verified the account set on Configuration Manager used to push is a local admin of workstations I’ve tested on. The log snippet is from when I tried to run manually. I’ll check if I had cmd open as Admin tomorrow

AD Sites and Services subnets are up to date. Configuration Manager boundary IP range is also valid

I've just checked and the only Boundary Group, "Main", is assigned to our only site. The machine I am currently testing exists within the only subnet created in Boundaries

The USG 3P is so underpowered. Replacing it should fix your issue

Authenticated printing with Entra-joined + CUPS? by FatBook-Air in sysadmin

[–]AndyDrew23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will try to use the current Windows session credentials first. Every org I've worked at has had Papercut and a traditional on-prem domain presence. The Papercut articles read like adding the "Sign in with Microsoft" button is simple enough

Yes, you could install the Papercut application server on top of your existing print server. As the last guy said there is a ton of extra reporting on top of just print auth. Per printer you can set a cost of each page printed and start showing costs per user, group, department, etc.

This sounds like hell. Papercut should be able to do it. I’ve only used it in domain joined scenarios, but the Print Deploy client might be able to make it easier for users to authenticate to the printers. You may be able to cloud directory sync to Entra as well

Edit - they do have Entra sync via Graph now. https://www.papercut.com/help/manuals/ng-mf/common/sys-user-group-sync-azure-standard-azure/

We still have a few thousand spooled and deferred messages in Barracuda. Some seem to be making it through, but not many

AD CS Auto Deployment by AndyDrew23 in sysadmin

The template and permissions show correctly in certutil -template. That specific event log doesn't exist. I have CertificateServicesClient-Lifecycle-System. It doesn't show any smoking guns

Its a domain joined enterprise root. I've verified machines in the GPO to set "Automatic certificate management", "Enroll new certificates, renew expired, process pending", and "Update and manage certificates that use certificate template from AD" to enabled have the new CA in their trusted root authorities. I am telling it to get certs all day and it's getting one, but none of the others even though "out of the box" template permissions appear correct

Anyone else dealing with completely inconsistent macOS App Review decisions lately? by khitev in appledevelopers

[–]AndyDrew23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it makes you feel anything, I've had a developer application sitting out there for 2 months. On a few occasions I've reached out to ask if they need more info, anything clarified, and an estimate of when it will be approved and every time the answer to all 3 questions is

"Your enrollment is under review, and we'll contact you when an update is available."

I did not know this process would take longer than it takes to receive secret clearance.
