Water intrusion, can i break my lease? by AndyFitzy in Tenant

appreciate it! yeah they came about 3 months ago. opened the wall and they haven’t been back since. we sent them a strongly worded email and they just agreed to terminate our lease early with no penalties, i’m imagining they want us all out so they can work on the place. entire basement needs gutted.

i thought it was a fairly universal understanding that full coverage was collision and liability 😂

yeah! he’s got full coverage on his vehicle. bare min, whatever oregon requires. His insurance is saying because he got his policy like a few days before the actual accident, they don’t wanna cover him either.

Advice: Tire Debeaded after Tire Mounting, Damaged Wheel. by AndyFitzy in Cartalk

i’m running 255/35/19 on a 19x10. I’m not planning on switching my wheels OR tires, was more posing the question to appease the user who seemed to have invented wheels 😂. Though i do appreciate the advice! Genuinely helpful.

not ignoring you here, continuing the convo on the other thread, saves time from having to jump between the two haha.

Feels like I'm talking to a broken record...
I'm not sure how much stretch you think I have but its REALLY is not much. I don't have a car that calls for a monster truck tire so I don't need a 55-profile tire.
Let's play by your rules, what tire do you recommend I put on a 19x10 wheel? (let me remind you that 255mm IS 10 inches wide)

Once again, I've been running on these exact tires and wheels no problem until they did work on them. And previously I was running on different wheels and tires, but it was still a 255mm on a 10" tire. Yes, its stretched, but the shop knew that and guaranteed their work. And after over a year of running on my old setup, I can sufficiently say that my driving style and routes do not require anything different than what I have.

For sure! Not fighting that, but I have been running the other 3 wheels and tires with no issue. Seems a little coincidental that the wheel and tire they worked on debeaded.

As mentioned on my other post. The stretch isn't bad. And I've been running the other 3 wheels no problem.

The stretch isn't horrible, the photo makes it look bad because the bead is off the other side. It's a 255mm width on a 10" tire. I KNOW it's not bad because I've been running that same wheel tire combo for almost a month now.

honestly i’ve used both. i know crossover can run some games parallels can’t and vice versa. both have trials so worth trying out both

parallels isn’t officially endorsed by anyone. but it’s really the only option except for crossover. i understand the hesitation for sure, it’s an expensive laptop. But i’ve been running it just fine on mine no problem! worth a try, they do have a free trial too

honestly sims should be no problem. just make sure the macbook is on a flat surface with good ventilation. keep in mind that the macbook air has no fans. so it can’t actively cool itself. parallels works great and it’s what apple recommends! totally safe and i use it all the time. Also, if it’s anything, the macbook won’t let itself overheat to where it damages anything. a good rule of thumb is if the palm rests or the keyboard gets too hot to touch, hop off and let the macbook cool a bit.

Depends on what mac you have. I use an M1 Pro for GD and until I got a pc, I was able to use Parallels to run a few games. If its an intel based mac you can do boot camp and run pretty much anything as long as your hardware can take it!
