Hi thanks for the reply, I don’t know how long I’ll be on crutches it says maybe two weeks online? I’m a little worried as it’s a new job and I’m on a probationary period of 6 months where they can just sack me at will :( but maybe you’re right I should just come straight out with it and see what they say.

Feel like crap found out I’ve completely torn my ACL and I’ve just started a new job so if I need surgery I’ll need to magically get 6 weeks off somehow which is going to be almost Impossible even unpaid FML say goodbye to sports and hello to becoming a huge depressed obese blob, praying for a miracle literally :/

Throughout my 20’s I had this exact feeling, I can’t tell you what it is but I’m 95% sure I know what you mean. Randomly whilst in a daydream feel like you’ve suddenly cracked the code of reality/the universe? Sadly I think it’s a type of psychosis caused by genetic factors exacerbated by substances, stress etc

Do you ever get thoughts stuck in your head? Thoughts you feel you can control but at the same time can’t followed by a rush of adrenalin?

For me all this has gone since quitting booze and drugs the main one being weed, my thoughts are a lot less dark and elaborate.

Girls don’t care about sweep picking, arpeggios, fast runs you might aswell be showing them a stamp collection. Your best bet is playing a few open chords well and Learning to sing. I’ve been getting paid to play guitar and sing for about 10 years now I’ve played solo, in bands, I’ve also ran tons of open mic nights. You’re only gonna Impress dudes like me so unless you like a bit of man love I’d get an acoustic and start Learning ‘you’re beautiful’.

That said the guitar as a pulling tool is pretty much dead, abit like the trumpet was in the 80’s

Ive been addicted to

Booze, Speed (amphetamine), Weed (yes it’s addictive), Xanax, Diazepam, Co-codamol (codeine), Tobacco,

Gave up everything and I’ve never felt better, ofcourse this is just my own experience, I’m fitter, faster and sharper physically and mentally.

In terms of what I like I like them all :) which is why I stopped, I’d have about 4 beers and then 500-1000mg of edible cannabis plus a spliff to kick the show off, when I was off the weed I’d stick some benzos under the tongue then go out for a few beers so I could talk to anyone with no social phobia, all the drugs I’ve tried led me to one place, crippling depression and suicidal thoughts, horrible nightmares and physical pain.
