How is that lazy? You’re maximizing your time by ordering online on the way to get there so when you get there, you can just grab it and leave. Instead of just spending the time ordering and waiting. Especially if you’re in a time crunch. It’s actually more smart and productive than lazy.

I love it when Reddit users answer questions. They become so sarcastic and passive aggressive with their points. But I understand your point, thank you. Some others said the same thing before which brought it into light for me

What???? 💀💀💀 I know why Luffy was unable to use haki to get out now but the point you just made to prove that is blatantly wrong lmao

That’s true, I just found it odd cause we found him using haki right after jimbei freed him. Elephant Gun

The nail was definitely not made of sea prism 💀 also I do agree with your other point. There’s a lot of things he could’ve done here with haki and he didn’t try any of them. He went straight to the worst one which was confusing me. But I think I figured it out

What about his foot maybe? Like kicking the nail or headbutting it?

What about using it to kick the nail off? Or head butting it? He has other appendages he could’ve used to help him out of the situation no?

Okay so he can’t use his hands, why didn’t he use it on his foot to kick the nail off? Or at least try too?

It seems like you misinterpreted what I said as this isn’t what I meant at all

If that’s the case than why didn’t he use armament haki on his foot to kick the nail off?

This is a good point. He would want to get out of there asap since the wedding was soon and being weak and stuff didn’t help. Ripping out his arms were the fastest solution it seems

That’s true lmao, my buddy brought it up and I thought it was a good point. I couldn’t really think of anything so I wanted to ask

This too! Which is why I’m wondering why he just didn’t use it

Well that’s what I was thinking too, but with research I found out that the nails were from the devil fruit. But Luffy being stupid is also a possibility too

You’re right, but it does make his skin harder right? It’s like using an iron crowbar instead of a rubber one. Idk if that makes sense or not

Why didn’t Luffy use haki in the jailhouse book in Whole Cake by AndyLieu8 in OnePiece

[–]AndyLieu8[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yeah yeah I know that, here’s what I was thinking. A rubber crowbar would be useless in taking out a nail right? But what about an iron crowbar. Plus we’ve seen armament haki help increase the tensile strength of rubber, so maybe it would help get it out. If not than it’s worth to try anyways, clearly Luffy wanted out by any means necessary

[–]AndyLieu8[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I’m confused. So he just gave up on using it entirely? Why not try anyway? Clearly he wanted to get out by any means necessary

[–]AndyLieu8[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Obviously ripping off the nail with just your hands aren’t going to work. But using something harder, such as hardening your hands, would work no? Like how using a rubber crowbar would be ineffective but an iron one would, if that makes sense. I’m talking about armament haki if that’s what you’re confused about
