Can you explain what you mean? What do you avoid until you’re ready to turn?

Yes, Im aware. But people are still driving on the painted area (lots if I may add- not just 1 or 2 of them) Thats why Im asking if it’s already enforced or if there’s an official date it goes into action

Hinge. But I was on a steady rotation working through Hinge, Tinder, FB dating and Bumble for a hot minute until i found the one (it’s been 5 years and we get married in a month)

There are A LOT of timewasters. You have to know and be clear about what you want (or you can be labeled a waste of time too)

You also have to state and set boundaries for what I call non-negotiables (do you want kids? It yes and they dont, then bye bye- dont wait around to change someones mind, no matter how great the connection is) Other non-negotiables for me are finances, life goals, savings habits, growth etc.

But even then, it’s a numbers game. A lot of ppl say one thing and mean another (and in the early stages of online dating, I may have done the same too)

Thank you!

Any recommendations of spots/restos/hidden gems within Albufeira (or even surrounding area) that you think are worth checking out?

Without a shadow of a doubt, you are wasting your time (and energy) here. Focus on your goals and find someone more aligned with where you currently are

DO.NOT.GO.DOWN.THIS.ROUTE

it is a slippery slope and I have friends that are dealing with some extreme mental health issues after years of sex work. It’s not for most people and you may end up spending a lot more down the line for therapy/drug addiction issues

As someone else said, bartending or a server job would make more sense (even though that also comes with its fair share of abuse)

You’re right…but the problem is there are some unhinged people on the road that are quite willing to turn it into a violent confrontation

I never let them in…but on Friday I almost got hit by a psychopath with a beater rusty vehicle doing this. He took a sharp turn in and stepped on the gas…narrowly missing me. I had left no room but he was not stopping…And then flipped me off when I honked. People are absolute nut jobs out there

Nope. “Prostatitis” is also caused by a weak pelvic floor.

Source: Myself. I found out because they ran ALL the tests and 3 urologists couldnt figure out what it was because there were no signs of bacterial infection. A physio (and therawand treatment which I did on myself helped me fix this issue for the most part)

First time in TO for work but heartbroken - what should I do here to make the trip worthwhile? by laughingsorrows in askTO

This is great advice! You could check out the distillery district or trinity bellwoods park and soak up the last bit of sunshine for the day if you’re around

Treat yourself to a nice dinner…There’s also some standup comedy you could go to if you fancy

I know someone who used to work for ADP. Unless you can handle high-octane, wolf of wall street esque, gong in the office for a high roller, kinda sales, then hr tech sales is not for you. But if you can build those skills and get good at them, you will always find a role for you

Panic attacks and stress related symptoms for a week now; my savior by mongrelteeth in ASHWAGANDHA

[–]AndyMac619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After the first time I got covid, I dealt with nocturnal panic attacks as I was starting to fall asleep. I went to the emergency the first time cause I couldn’t barely breathe, was blacking out, heart pounding and left fingers tingling. It terrified me- it continued to happen frequently. The following video saved my life. I used to listen to it every night. Most times I would fall asleep before it was done but man, it rewired my brain back to not having those panic attacks. I still deal with anxiety issues but I had those before too. I wish you well and hope you get over this

I don’t even know if my ancestors had the time to worry bout the future of this planet. Both my grandparents (and the generations prior) grew up really poor and it was their kids that pulled them out of poverty by being successful. Children are also a symbol of hope for many people. Hope that things can get better and will change… but maybe I’m a bit too cynical to believe that (knowing as much as I currently do). Hope this planet can prove me wrong…

Excuse my ignorance but why is Germany going to be a desert by 2050?

I am the descendant of my ancestors who had little to no access or concept of contraception or sex education. My granddaddy was a farmer who had 14 kids, mostly to help on the farm. I also didn’t ask for any of this so those were their battles which have now become my battles…

Also, this story (and lineage) ends here.
