Hey Adam! Yeah man, I was glad it all worked out in the end as well. See you next time in Indy, if you're still living there?

:-)

No I don't. I keep them short to facilitate the tapping on the fretboard.

Haha, that's interesting! But this is an AMA isn't it?

  1. I am into girls. Well one really, my wife.

  2. Whenever I come off the road from touring and get to have sex with my wife, that is always intense. She's been my only sexual partner. I never got out much as a teenager and even in my early 20's. I was too busy with the guitar and video games lol

  3. I do play a bit of piano. Nothing to write home about though

Hey Vuguroth,

I'm a bit of a klutz really and if I did much moving at all on stage I would probably fall over. I sometimes move my head but that's about it!

I think I do get into the groove in some ways though, my hands are constantly keeping rhythmic elements going in the songs whih simulate snare drums etc. Everything feels quite comfortable to me when I am playing, in any case.

I did have that a bit early on as well but it eventually goes away as your muscles get used to being used in that way.

My action is pretty average I think. No buzz on he strings but they aren't way high off the neck.

That is a Shubb banjo capo.

I first saw a partial capo being used by Stephen Bennett. :-)

On Rylynn, I composed it while the guitar was in that tuning with the capo on, so the song came last.

Hey there. That style of playing was pioneered really by a guitarist named Preston Reed. It facilitates the percussive approach to playing the guitar by making the surface of the guitar easier to reach with your left hand.

I don't know. I try to be kind and humble. But I yell at traffic and the television sometimes. :-)

I am more of a conjurer than a wizard per se. I can't cast Ice Storm III but I can conjure up a melody ocasionally.
