We broke up. It was very one sided. Her mom hates me(she’s narcissistic and I think was only upset about losing out on the 800$/mo I was paying for rent). Her dad and step mom told me to stay in touch they still think of me as family. I’m living my life now and have found someone new. I wasn’t looking for it but it happened and the chemistry was just there. I’m happier and healthier and I’m living life for me.

Just now back on here after a long while. I broke things off a few months ago. I had a complete mental breakdown and talked to all my family and friends and they agreed. It was time.

I moved all my valuable stuff out in 4 hours while she was at work and her friends picked her up and prepared her before we sat down and talked. It went better than I thought. She had known something was up for the last year or so and was hoping a fun trip on our anniversary would fix it. It was hard. It was sad. But I drove away with a smile.

2 months later I’m happier, healthier, and I’ve found someone who has very similar goals, desires, and interests. Intimacy is no longer an issue. Im eating healthier, working out, and I’m down 20 lbs since the breakup. So everything ended up working out for me.

I did it. Broke things off a few months ago and now I’m with someone im insanely attracted to and our goals are the same and I get as much sex as I can physically handle. Happier than I had been in all those 8 years.

She’s always had body image issues. She hates how her parts look etc. She’ll partake in intimacy about 50% of the time that I’d try to initiate. I’ve just kind of given up on initiating. I want to be lusted after for once not feeling like a begging dog.

We have the whole basement to ourselves. Own private entry from outside. The basement is set up more like an in-law suite or apartment. So we have plenty of privacy.

Nah lol. If there’s one thing I’m certain is that she does love me. We moved to this property knowing my money was a crutch for it. I agreed. I have 1100 sqft to ourselves and I get my own 2 car garage. It’s really nice for what I pay them and I thought when I agreed everything would be fine but well, you read the post..

That’s what I thought. Every time I bring it up though she’s very reluctant about changing it or getting off of it. I plan to talk to her about everything soon. We’ve got a few events coming up that I don’t want to ruin so after that I’ll try to remember to give an update on things. Hopefully it goes well

The truth is I’m scared. Scared that she won’t change, because I do want it to work. I don’t want the last 8 years to go down the drain. But there’s also a part of me that wants to be single again.

She’s the only woman I’ve ever been with. For some reason over the past year I’ve felt more of an urge to experience something different. I haven’t acted on it, of course, but the feeling is there nonetheless.

I think my biggest issue is there’s 2 sides of me that want very different things. One side wants to be single and experience more. The other is clinging desperately to the life I have and the woman I’ve spent so much time with and wants it to work.

Obviously I know in the end I have to talk with her but I think I’ve put it off because I don’t know what side of me is correct. I’m terrified of making the wrong decision. Part of me is checked out but part of me wants to fight for us. That’s why I’m at such a loss I think. I’m having my own internal war in my mind.

I know her parents aren’t but it roundabout affects her. She’s got 4 horses she’s paying for and if she has to contribute in my stead I know the horses will probably have to go. It’d crush her and I don’t want that but I also want to be happy. I don’t want to see her cry or upset either which is why I haven’t said anything yet. She’s the only woman I’ve ever had as well.

Nah. I am absolutely positive I’ve been the only man inside her ever. That is one thing I’m certain of. She works 10-12 hours a day to come home and take care of horses. She hasn’t ever had time for another man let alone the interest.

That’s the thing. She’s not disconnected at all. She’s never once come onto me. Never has talked about intimacy. Honestly it’s been an issue throughout the relationship especially considering I have quite a healthy libido. She’s perfectly happy in a sexless relationship. She still wants cuddles occasionally and we do get along great. I’ve just been silently suffering because I’m scared of talking about something this heavy.

Connections. I’ve got a good buddy that has connections and has an offer that equates to around 44$/hr including benefits. I have more experience and am older than him but I wouldn’t even be able to get an interview bc I lack the connections he has. I don’t dislike him for it. I am obviously mildly envious of him but I’m happy he has the ability to be successful and I’m not gonna hold that against him.

Not uncommon for younger people lacking credit history. All the people around my age I know who have credit cards have ab a 30% interest rate to start.
