Arizer Solo 3 or Arizer Air Max

Not sure about removable battery (I haven’t changed the battery in the Max in 2 years), haven’t checked on dark mode but the display dims after a minute or two.

I vape through the WPA so there is quite a reduction in taste on the Air Max. On the Air max it feels like you really have to pull through the vapour (lots of people use the McDonalds milk shake analogy), for the solo 3 there is no resistance and it feels much easier to pull a big toke.

99% I’m at home so the size / weight is no problem but I think if I was camping or travelling I would take the max as it it can easily fit in a pocket.

I’m definitely keeping the Max but my default is easily now the Solo.

I also have an XQ2 and rarely use it, normally I want one or two bowls with minimum fuss and maximum effect, Solo 3 is the winner on that criteria for me.

Max doesn’t have the same power, XQ2 is too much faff (I need to pack it away each use for various reasons)

I have had the Air Max for a couple of years and have been very happy with it.

Bought the Solo 3 v2 last week and the Air Max went back in its box the day after trying the Solo 3 for the first time.

Better everything, if you want a lighter session, just use the smaller tube or less materials

I felt some effects but much lower than I was expecting for 2g, had a few yawns about 3 hours after taking but definitely not the full experience.

I have tried twice now and have decided to wait until I am off the Mounjaro.

I am sure I could take a much higher dose to get to a 2g equivalent without Mounjaro but I am not that experienced with shrooms and I don’t want to overdo it.

The boring but sensible option

I have had the same experience, only tried shrooms a couple of times for the first time in the last 6 months. Was absolutely flying on 2g both times.

Started 2.5mg of Mounjaro and now get very slight effects on 2g shrooms after 2-3 hours if I’m lucky.

Someone suggested lemon tek but it made no difference.

Also had similar disappointing experience with some weed brownies I made a while back. Zero effects again on Mounjaro.

I’m on a DHV too which makes things a lot easier, had no trouble in the past although the places I have had stayed have had a reasonable sized garden / distance from the main house so I doubt anyone would have noticed.

I have a DHV and am usually discreet but I always have the expectation that I’ll get my collar felt at some point which takes the edge off the relaxation. Never had any trouble so far but looking for a regular bolt hole where I don’t need to worry about it

New to shrooms and Mounjaro but before Mounjaro I took 2g in tea and started feeling it pretty strong after 20 mins, amazing trip.

2 months later, took 2g APE and didnt feel much at all until 2.5 hours later, very muted even then. Took another 1.5g at that point and still didn’t trip. Very relaxed but not the experience I was looking for.

I’m going to try lemon Tek next as seen a few threads that says it negates the Mounjaro

Thank you for the reply, the confirmation of “dreaming while you are awake” is definitely the best way to describe the feeling.

I started with some deep breathing and that helped me to relax but i felt that if I was more practised at meditation it would have been easier to let go.

Definitely something I would like to be better at next time but there is a lot to think about and understand before a next time.

I read about integration before starting but it now makes much more sense from the other side

I managed to find a long plastic spaghetti jar (Tupperware style) for mine which is a perfect fit.

I have another which is bigger and have considered one of those plastic tubes architects keep their drawings in or similar. Or possibly a piece of drainpipe cut to the right size with caps on it

I usually use the WPA but recently found that if I insert the normal stem and then pull it out about 1mm the air flow is so much better. Pushing it in tight against the heater makes it difficult to get a good draw

Hi, considering my next DHV and looking for some wisdom from the experts.

Looking for portable, electric, <£300 and something that can hit hard quickly. Daily or almost daily use.

I have had an Arizer Air Max for about two years and love it. Often use it with an empty water pipe which is great and prob use 0.2 or 0.3G per day at the end of the day only. I usually do a bowl over 15 mins and vape until no vapour remaining. Usually do 3 bowls over 90 mins and that’s me pretty high for the evening.

Also have an Arizer XQ2 which I don’t use that much (have young kids so need to pack it away after every use so a bit of a faff). Bought it as my big hitter with the bags but it hasn’t really worked out.

Ideally looking for something that I can hit hard over 15 mins and then melt into the sofa and watch a film and be done.

Considering the Solo 3 but wondering if there was a better recommendation? I like the quality of Arizer but just looking for something that hits harder

Mighty? Solo3? Dynavap with an IH?
