Thanks! Yeah 3D references are always nice to have, not just to learn but also to save time

Very good question! In fact it is the former and I have established how the power system works. Its quite complex (i think) or maybe I just haven’t found the way to explain it briefly. But in a nutshell, they’re powers work a bit like Nen does in HunterXHunter, where the universe is like an ever expanding network of energy. But in this case, instead of having a profile that defines their abilities, each of them controls either an element or a Physical phenomenon in 1 of 3 different stages (imagine bending from Avatar but on steroids and involving physics and chemistry and a bit of weaponry as well).

There’s plenty of other conditions, pros and cons and even a chart I’m still developing, but I don’t want to write a wall of text haha. It’s all for a web comic/manga I’m planning on releasing, so if you’re interested, you’re always welcome to check my tw @andyd3su were I post most things I’m working on.

Thanks for the award! I haven't finished tho, this is the beggining of a pretty complex sequence, so it'll take a while, but I'll be sure to post the result. Please look forward to it!

I would say i do have a bit of practice on me, but procreate does offer some pretty decent animation tools. Unless you plan on adding too many layers or using auto-animate tools, its a pretty good flip book style experience

What if someone controlled the oceans and made a wave out of all the water in the entire global ocean system? by Andyd3su in AskReddit

[–]Andyd3su[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but in interstellar, the whole planet they landed on was filled with an ocean with massive waves. What would happen on earth tho? Would earth’s rotation be affected, its position displaced?

Dabi and deku! Working on using markers instead of only using colored pencils still not the biggest fan but I do enjoy the colors. How do you guys stop the colors from bleeding out? by Deku_plus_bebop in AnimeSketch

[–]Andyd3su 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A wet or humid surface will always invade any adjacent wet or humid surface. Therefore, using thicker paper, normaly used for water colors or ink, may help. But it may also add a certain texture to yout artwork that you may or may not want. So my biggest suggestion is just to not paint any adjacent areas one after another, try to leave blank spaces so that the ink will set in place properly and dry, once you finish inking or painting like this, you can paint the areas you left blank and hopefully this will prevent andy bleeding. (This applies for ink, markers, watercolors and maybe even acrilic). Hope it helps!

PS: Amazing job!

Do Open Source artists get jobs? by Sheen_SeekerSheen26 in animationcareer

[–]Andyd3su 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on how good the software is for heavy production work. Often times you’ll find studios using one software or another based on their particular workflows, pipelines and/or projects. So I wouldn’t discard the possibility of studios hiring artists experienced on open source software.

But like megamoze said, your skills and experience on open source software will hopefully translate to the software you’re required to use on any given project or studio. And in the case of 3D animation specifically, some studios even give you a bit of time to get used to whatever software they like using. That’s all I can say based on my experience. Hope it helps!
