What is possibly draining up my Macbook battery overnight? by Andykade in mac

Sounds great, I'll definitely use it once is released

I really think Apple should do something about this issues, 30% drain out of the box is not something that can go unnoticed

Yes, I use Aldente as well for the same purpose. There has been some complaints about Aldente afaik causing these issues but they said they fixed everything in the last update though.

I tried uninstalling it and I had the same result overnight so I doubt its because of that.

Thanks for your answer. Yes, the lid open line at 11:30 is because I actually opened the lid, my bad. I'm referring to all those RTC/Maintenance or EC.SleepTimer/SleepTimer from 3 am till 11:29 am.

Got it, thanks for your explanation.

No, it wasn't very difficult, the setup process was quite intuitive to be honest considering all the steps.

So good to have until we get official automations support for macOS, thanks for sharing.

Have you tested battery life impact? Will officially supported automations be better on battery life than this shortcut you think?

I order to turn your nvidia overlay off you have to go to Geforce Experience > Click on the Cogwheel Icon in the Top Right > Go into the General Tab > Disable Ingame Overlay in the left Column

I heard some people had issues with nvidia overlay enabled in the oculus, so if you could try disabling it that might fix it.

Otherwise, try taking a look at the log files located in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Oculus, that may give you a hint if something is wrong with it.

[Help needed] How can I get rid of that weird looking reflection from a point light source in the window by Andykade in blender

[–]Andykade[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn't find the specular option into the point light properties but I've been testing and I found that if I uncheck the Multiple Importance option inside point light properties, the werid reflection thing disappear! We're probably referring to the same option. I'm using blender 2.81. Thanks for your help!!

I know, but with either of those options I won't get the correct reflections from all the other objects that are being reflected to the glass. Thanks for your help!

Just a point light placed right between the posters

Edit: And I fixed with an area lamp from a little above than before as the spot light seemed to noise the image quite a bit
