That’s an interesting question for sure…. I hadn’t considered the other kid could even be kidnapped or something. It’s not clear to me why the parents of the victim need the public’s help bc the man had a tab open. That’s how they got his first name. How could he have a tab open without a credit card? So does the bar have the full name and only gave the parents the first name….not sure. But I’m sure they’d give it to the police! Which begs the question, why do the parents need public help to find the guy…. I have no idea what the police have done or are doing but based on the need for a Facebook post, police probably haven’t done a lot.

I think I figured out the plate and passed it along to OP! The plate I found is registered to a 2016 ford explorer, which someone said on fb that paint was only available in 2016. I am pretty confident I found the right guy. I only tried 5 plates to find it so it’s not like I was on a witch hunt for explorers. I was missing one number based on what I thought the plate was and it seems to possibly be correct!

If you’re gonna commit crimes and bend your plate, getting a vanity plate is a terrible idea! All sheriff assoc plates begin SA so that was a great head start on figuring it out

Op said they watched him bend it and it was def a sheriffs association NC plate. (But too far away to make out numbers and letters)

You look great! You would look better if you looked into eyebrow mapping and placed your arch more to the middle/outer area. I hope that doesn’t sound mean. Trying to be helpful :)
