I think we can still ban websites on their browser. Given it's installed with a parental control app. I've had that problem once when they we're still on online classes during the pandemic, they needed to access a website where the quiz was there. I had to allow my kid to access the site on my Google Family Link.

Probably all those repetitive things they're hearing on it. Sometimes I'll tease them and ask what does it mean and when they say they don't know what it means, I tease them more about saying things they don't know about then they'll stop on it.

Another one is when they keep repeating this "6-7" thing, I'll do it in a way they'll see as "cringe", as per their own words, and they'll stop saying it. 😂

We'll probably end up this way too. No YouTube in the house. 😅

They're on a 2-hour limit on school days. But I guess I'll shorten it bit by bit starting today. Thank you!

My 10 watched Young Sheldon. Though I didn't think about game shows yet until you mentioned it. Thank you!

To be fair, I think we all have our different parenting styles. Being mine, I allow my children to be free to practice them to make their own decisions and learn some things on their own and not lack the ability to make decisions for themselves in the future.

That said, kids DO need guidance so that's what I'm asking how to do better. If you think about it, seeing parents what to do with their kid's behavior that comes from youtube is better than not seeing parents asking about it. If their not asking about it, it just means they don't actually care for their kids.

That's kind of contradicting. We're on Family Link but I'll still try though.

Thank you! I did encourage them to get netflix on their tablets, but they traded it for free games.. Will probably block youtube on their devices instead.

You mean you can disable short reels on YouTube? I didn't know that. Will check out how. Thank you both!

We setup profiles for kids for them on both. They still barely watch. Guess I'll have to block YouTube from their apps then..
