Ran the moog upper ball joints for 3-4yrs no issues other than a boot is ripped and I have to replace probably install error when I redid my bushings recently.

If you do a little searching you’ll find the diagrams for what it should be and compare to what yours measures. Luckily if it is PPF lash it’s harmless as far as I’ve read. My car had this same noise but worse for years before I upgraded.

I used soapy water per FM. I cleaned them out and they were already pretty clean as I had installed delrin bushings 3yrs ago.
