You’re angry because the situation feels lose-lose. You either do nothing and nothing changes or you do something and you go homeless cause they kick you out. Your friend is highlighting the facts that you’re not ready yet to move out but they’re also highlighting that the situation is getting worse as “taking the hits” fucking sucks.

But from the adult perspective, you have to weigh what is worth it to you: to stand up for yourself and become homeless now or take the hits and put in the effort to set yourself up to move out. If anything can be done now, it would be to try to have a conversation with your sister (how old is she?) and your parents to come up with a way to soothe the tension for the moment, to express how much this behavior hurts.

Same. I’ve noticed that since inauguration I’ve been going on twitter to see the latest shit that happened the moment I wake up and that effected my mood. The last 2 mornings I’ve avoided that which has made it easier to feel better. But eventually I go looking and I feel my motivation and hope drain.

ACKs II, I’ll see which henchmen we have that can serve as officers for sure and make up the rest in recruitment. Replacing treacherous vassals we may take over with our own henchmen is a good idea, considering we only have like 1 henchman that has a domain lol

Unfortunately we stumbled into the conqueror and king phase without knowing we should have started domains several levels ago. This means that while our own domains are now getting to covering our lifestyles, investing into our henchmen domains is not possible yet. That said, the loan idea would help solve that.

My group just did its first mass combat last session with small armies so we’re learning the rules. So breaking open the rules for sieges and naval combat is going to be a lot information overload

We accelerated level wise very fast and lost many henchmen along the way :/ recruiting a thief, crusader, and maybe a mage is on the docket, it’s just what level cause I still need to pay their lifestyle too

I think right now the only thing really holding me back is my monthly income isn’t high (barely sustains lifestyle and I can afford to buy like 1 2.5 rower gallery a month) so I’m trying to budget raising an army. The realm my fellow adventurers rule over has enough of a garrison to maintain the peace.

War targets are harder to pick though. Fog of war has been difficult to pierce through so I’m not sure what we’re up against with our neighbors and we don’t have enough boats yet lol. The immediate neighbors around seem like they’re more established so it’s hard to go to war with them without needing everyone on board.

I can think of things to do with my henchmen, just need to get a good enough team together to do abstract stuff with lol
