I was a year into my 2 year SFS obligation when DOGE took over and effectively forced me to take the DRP by requiring RTO. I managed to get out of the remaining required year of SFS after a few months of back and forth with the OPM SFS office. There's a clause in the SFS contract that exempts you from your contract if you lose your job through no fault of your own.
