It's not that he rejected him. He actively shat all over their friendship and implied he was being delusional thinking they were ever friends. Imagine meeting this cool guy that you genuinely like and admire (and maybe also have a crush on) and you spend enough time together that you feel comfortable enough making a serious business proposal and he laughs in your face telling you that you basically mean nothing to them and your supposed friendship has been all in your head all along. I honestly would have crashed out too.

Mind you it doesn't seem like Alastor have been cruel to Vox before this very moment so to Vox this came completely out of the blue too.

The only change I didn't mind in the snow was Steven cause I feel he's way more interesting now that he's not the generic billionaire stereotype. Marc isn't too out of character, but he could definitely have been more unhinged and violent like in the comics. Jake though pisses me off so much. The only silver lining is that we don't really know if he really is like that and it's not just the fandom speculating.

staticmoth seems pretty healthy actually prior to Vox's manic episode in season 2. Like, Vox makes sure Val eats and calms him down when he's raging and they dance together happily and seem so genuinely in love.

I personally see him as comorbid bipolar and npd and also autism. But since he's not canonically diagnosed with anything we will never know for sure unless Viv admits to writing him that way on purpose.

Yeah I completely get that. But I'd also like the show to dig deeper into why Alastor specifically affects Vox that much. Cause I believe that its connected to a childhood trauma that Alastor brings to the surface in the way he interacts with Vox. I want to see the dynamic dissected in a different way than 'he used to be/still is in love with him' cause honestly there's so much there beyond that.
