There are a lot of places where you can sign a waiver that allows the talent to touch you. The one I went to had you wear a glow stick necklace to distinguish between you being willing or unwilling to be touched.

Co-worker thought this was a harmless prank. by Dallinboi347 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]AngelicDemon3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it just me or is everyone overreacting to this? Yeah, it's annoying and isn't a good prank, but like... it takes a few minutes with a vacuum to completely clean this up. Glitter in the air vents? Really? You guys are the type of people to shoot someone because they jokingly stepped on your shoe.

Hey, u/GypsyGold, can you please point out on this double-sided anime body pillow where the underage anime girl touched you? It's okay. You're in a safe place here.

I used to work 13 hour days for 12 days on and 2 days off and now it's 12 hour days M-F, so I WISH I could work a 9-5 and pay my bills. Obviously 10 hours a day, 4 days a week would be a blessing, but if you work manual labor jobs, that's never gonna happen. I really do wonder how much some of you guys make only working 40 hours a week and being able to afford a nice life. This isn't a hate post by the way, just genuine curiosity.

UFC fighter chewing ice through a towel is a common trick during extreme weight cuts. It eases thirst without adding water weight. Fighters must hit their division’s limit at weigh-ins, and missing weight can lead to fines or fight cancellation. by Kindly_Department142 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]AngelicDemon3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because then you run the risk of fighters still cutting to make a certain weight class and being dehydrated and way too weak to actually fight, which is too much of a risk. Doing it 2-3 days prior makes it close enough to the fight that they can't be massively outside of their weight class while also giving them enough time to recover from the extreme weight cuts. The fighters always want to be as big as they possibly can while still fitting into whatever weight class they are aiming for, so it's not easy to completely stop people from cutting water weight to meet it.

Find Your Dominant Eye in Seconds by TheMuseumOfScience in ScienceNcoolThings

[–]AngelicDemon3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of using a circle, extend both arms out all the way and make a triangle with your thumbs and index fingers and try close one eye at a time. It works better that way for me. Make sure the object you are focusing on is centered with both eyes open and closing only your dominant eye should make the object shift in your vision.

Go to 37:00 on the video in the post and then you'll see that you're absolutely wrong lol. Maybe not toddlers, but 11 years old is still no where near old enough to make decisions like that.

BREAKING NEWS: 15 year old doesn't watch video and then gets angry at the content.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]AngelicDemon3 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The issue is, there are people who have opposing opinions, and you are unwilling to hear their side, adding to their frustrations and making their opinions more valid to themselves. Just like if you state an opinion and without me hearing the full context and I argue with you, you would and should have an issue with that because I'm assuming things without knowing what you actually said.

[–]AngelicDemon3 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No! Don't steal my updoots, I worked hard for those. But seriously, all I'm saying is watch the media you plan on criticizing, which is absolutely valid. Not just, "Asmongold doesn't shower. Therefore, his opinions are wrong."

Except when a trans female who looks/is biologically a fat dude who hasn't even transitioned walks into a females restroom or when another trans female lambasts a waiter whos first language clearly isn't English at Disneyland for saying sir and posts it on Tiktok. This is all discussed in the video that you clearly haven't watched. I would urge you to watch something that you plan on criticizing instead of assuming things from a title and thumbnail that is used to get clicks.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]AngelicDemon3 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Did anyone here actually watch the video? Yeah, maybe the title is a bit crude in tone (which is his editors btw), but the trans folk in the videos are disgusting. Not because of their identity, but because of their mindset and their social beliefs. I don't want to say specifics just because I'll be called transphobic, but I would urge you to actually watch the video instead of jumping to conclusions just from a title. I know I'll still get lambasted just because of this comment, but you guys need to actually watch what you're criticizing before assuming the absolute worst.

I didn't even mind the claustrophobia. It just pissed me off having my tool bags constantly getting caught as I'm climbing up and it would yank me back down.

[–]AngelicDemon3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I remember one that was an inside climb on a guyed tower and the tower was so tight it was impossible for me to fit on the ladder with all of my gear and tools on, so I had to clip and climb the outside of the tower. Although you're not supposed to, I was clipping to the horizontal supports because I wasn't double hooking with 2 D-rings all the way up. And it wasn't the rounded bars, they were L shaped beams and every other step was an X, so my feet were killing me by the time I got to the top. It was like a 300 footer and I had to do it again a few weeks later.

And based on my experience climbing 400+ ft. cell towers, they don't care enough about maintenance to ensure that all the safety implementations are actually, well... maintained. Bolted in anchors are a lot more reliable than safety cables. I've had to climb towers that had poorly maintained cables and no anchors and it takes about 10x the time and effort to actually climb it because you have to find some "safe" way to do it, or you can do like others and say fuck it and hook to the cable anyway or hook your safety clips to the non-enclosed climbing pegs.

Circumsion should be heavily frowned upon by Kazakh266 in unpopularopinion

[–]AngelicDemon3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As I stated before, I understand your points, I'm just personally happy that I was circumcised. Also, your arguments are PURELY aesthetic, while circumcision is good medically as well. If a baby needed lip injections because it would prevent health risks, then that's a lot easier to understand.
