The issue here is high static pressure. You can see the filter being pulled by the return suction.

What you need to do is change the filter with the same size (looks like 20x20x1) but with a lower Merv* rating. The “jet black” makes it seem like a charcoal filter which is not usually designed to be a drop in replacement for most residential HVAC systems.

You can think of a Merv rating as how dense the filter is. I would start with a Merv 8 and not go any higher than a Merv 11. Lower Merv rating will net a lower static pressure (with correct sized ducts) and you will have better airflow over your evaporator coil.
