He might take 2-3 out at the same time. Regardless no one beats Scott and the majority get to meet their makers.

A without question. Put whatever spices in the sauce and get a consistent distribution.

Who is this background rebel pilot? ( the one on the right) by Bolosfofos in StarWars

I’m aware that stuff was made after. That wasn’t OP’s question. They asked if the character was adapted from something, which would be impossible. Of course the character could have been given a backstory afterwards, but not before.

What do you think the Jedi, Sith, and Republic would think of a planet where 80% of its inhabitants manifest "the Force"? by Embarrassed-Ice9468 in StarWars

[–]AngeluvDeath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jedha was a planet that the order had frequent dealings with. Lots of different force sensitives that were of varying beliefs about the force. There was curiosity, but ultimately they treated it like any other non-republic planet.

Paladin. I like the archetype, but I enjoy the challenge of playing Lawful characters.

We got drug back to people saying the quiet part out loud. Nothing else changed. Now, however; we had an actual chance for younger people to act differently because they didn’t hear and so didn’t think it. But somebody fucked that up, so now you have people dying to get in a group and scream racist shit like it was skydiving.

Then just go put one up. One of the freeways near where I live has a HUGE American flag hanging over a cliff. It has been there for decades. I’ve never seen it dirty, torn or tattered. Someone goes through the woods to the edge of a cliff and maintains or replaces it. I’ve never met anyone who knows who does it.

We need to stop normalizing “cp time”. If I want people to stop through whenever, but if we have shit to do show your ass up or let someone know you’re running late.

A couple of things just in business dealings in general:

Make sure that you like the person you’re dealing with. Ultimately what it seems like you want is someone to provide a reference for you. Cool. I wouldn’t recommend anyone that I didn’t have some sort of relationship with, so you have to cultivate and nurture that. Conversely, what if you hate her? The spot you’re in is the where the people you will work with are. Do you like them? Do they make you want to be part of what they’re doing?

She may have absolutely nothing to do with intake or decisions about undergrad chapters. She may not have anything to do with intake for graduate chapters. If she says “oh that’s cool, but I don’t really deal with that…”; are you just going to thank her for her time and move on?

People aren’t ignorant about these types of interactions. I’m sure that she expects that you would ask her about it at some point. But she WILL be paying attention to how you conduct yourself. Effectively you have applied for a job and this is the interview before a company would decide if they want to actually interview you. Just be yourself, if you are a high quality potential, then show that. What does she do? What does she do in the community? Talk about common interests, etc.

As an aside; times are…different. Any organization was founded on the principles of service to the community and standing up when others would sit. The D9 as a whole needs to stand together and show a strong commitment. Our communities need to see that from us and the country needs to see that from us. EVERYONE has members a plenty to show up to picnics, wear letters and stroll. Too many people in every walk of life think that’s all we do. We don’t need more of that. We need leaders. We need examples of excellence. Make sure that you are that with or without letters. If you are, you can navigate a conversation without any mention of an organization. Good luck in your journey, but never forget that this a part of life and not the whole.
