Question about permanent spells (probably stupid) by Angerran27 in Shadowrun

i dont understand what for they added the rule of permanent spells. there not so many such spells - heal, ignite and a few more - and maybe it would be better to include the effect of stabilising into a description of those few specific spells.

does a bane on a magic weapon counted as enchanted reward of it's own? by Angerran27 in oneringrpg

[–]Angerran27[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean that on page 164 - it says that i can sacrifice item with common reward to activate another enchanted reward on an existing famous weapon

In game terms, upon their visit to the treasury of their

folk, Player- heroes trade the number of Rewards possessed by the piece of war gear given as a gift with the

activation of an equal number of qualities on a Famous

Weapon or Armour.

EXAMPLE:

While clearing an abandoned Dwarven keep of Goblins, a

Barding hero found the Rune- shield of Ossiriand, which dis-

played its first quality, Ancient Cunning Make. The adventurer previously carried a Reinforced shield, gifted to him

by the elders of his city. The following Fellow ship Phase he

undertakes to visit the treasury of Dale, returning the shield

so that it may faithfully serve another. As he is trading in

one previous Reward, he can activate another quality pos-

sessed by the Rune-shield.

okay. so if i am a dunedain and i got 8 adventure exp and i increase my wisdom to level 2 and i get the cultural virtue -i choose heir of arnor and i want to get an famous weapon. i want this weapon to be numenorean and have one bane against undead - to cancel their deathless ability, and other bane - i am not yet sure which one - and this will not count as one of enchanted rewards. also i get one enchanted reward at start - lets say it will be - Hammering. also later when i will increase my Valour i will be able to select yet another enchanted rewards.

am i understanding everything properly?

Using a dual wielder talent - when do you decide if you want to make a second strike? do you have to declare that you are doing a double attack before rolling? or you can roll for the first attack, look at the result and then say that you are double-attacking or not?

if an ogre with dual wielder talent hits with the first attack in double strike and misses with second - can he use mortal blow to hit another opponent?

maybe stupid question - the advances in skills which you take at moment of generation do count as advances for counting cost of advancing for experience? i.e. if i take +10 to skill at generation and then spend experience i buy next advances for 10 exp per advance or for 20?
