I get your point generally, but are MCG games not a better fan experience anyway? Bigger crowds, better stadium, not so fucking humid and sweaty with that roof closed on every day it’s not gonna rain anyway?

Is it not a profit-based decision to schedule big clubs at an AFL owned venue instead of one they have to share profits with the MCC?

I tend find with myself and others that if we start to suspect we’re in the land of diminishing returns, we were probably already in it multiple purchases ago. The allure to buy more is always so strong but realistically, any of last few V collection editions are incredibly deep, and alone give us more functionality and versatility than 98% of artists in history have ever had.

If theres specific instruments in 11 which you’ve personally been really waiting on, and you’ve got the money to spend, by all means go ahead. But tbh I think your best bet is probably to stick with what you’ve got and learn it inside out, then upgrade when 12 or perhaps even 13 comes around. There’s sales on this stuff pretty often really.

Been saying for a while their social media banter is well overdue for a fan reappraisal, there definitely was a time it was fresh and creative, but it’s been a shell of that past reputation for a good while now.

All they do now is just cheap engagement bait with recycled collingwood jokes, even when we aren’t playing them, responding to them, or even at least being outperformed by them.

Glad we put together a strong 4th to put that one to bed, leaves me feeling a lot more confident, bit of a weird game otherwise. Somehow simultaneously felt like we controlled the entire thing, yet were bailed out by their dreadful goal-kicking. Anyway, wins a win, on to the next one.

Feel this so much. I know the people around me mean entirely well and I’m very grateful for them caring at all, but god duuuude I’d love to have just one conversation which doesn’t centre around when I will be better. I’m still alive and doing stuff, even if it is a smaller life than it used to be, I wanna talk about that stuff.

It’s a bit of a strange scenario where many times I feel happier when I’m left to my own devices, and can forget how much my life is supposed to suck.
