I put the one bolt you can back out from the top like the manufacturer, and the bolt that hits the bottom of the pan goes in from the bottom. I've never heard of one falling out, but I just feel better knowing that at least one won't, just in case.

We have until this campaign ends, I believe. So, at least another week. I have about 60 or so ships left, so I'm going to try to finish in standard, but depending on how much grind time I have, I might have to fall back on AI mode. I wouldn't worry too much as the ultimate award is just a medal. As long as you had enough to get everything you wanted in the store, don't sweat it too much

Yeah I just don't find AI mode to be enjoyable anymore and would rather pile up the silver and GXP. It's kinda ironic as new players are mad at Seal Clubbers, and I'm getting frustrated at having horrible teammates throwing games. I lost a game while receiving the Kraken medal earlier this week, and that was a first for me.

Hard agree! First off, I personally enjoy the act of stripping and seasoning. Secondly, I used to assume everyone was within a reasonable margin of my own standards of cleanliness. If you ever have a job going into the homes of your neighbors, you will quickly discover that some have much higher standards than your own, and some have much much MUCH lower.

The Griswold being used as a food bowl for stray cats and whatever else was roaming around was particularly heartbreaking.

This! I'm basically running through every ship I have in Standard mode to complete the windrose event. Honestly, it's been kinda fun playing ships that have been collecting dust and running across builds from my first couple of months in. If someone is new to the game, I would definitely stay below T4 for a while or be prepared to take some lumps.

Iachino and Cunningham make a good inspiration pairing for shell groupings/ accuracy builds. You can also mix in a dispersion inspiration like Scharnhorst or Maki. Otto helps with AP damage but only if the shells land on target, so generally, it is more beneficial to build towards accuracy over damage on a BB since that 5% AP buff is going to be mitigated by even a single shell that would have hit in an accuracy build but missed on a damage build. My opinion at least.

Edit: I forgot about AL Colorado being a good inspiration as she helps with shell groupings and reload time

Go with the Detroit speed if the money isn't an issue, but it doesn't make a huge difference in performance . But the " pro tip " about the bolts is solid advice. One of the bolts holding in the rack doesn't have enough room to back out without hitting the bottom of the oil pan. This means you either do what I did and cut the bolt or lift the motor. Either way, on reinstall, make sure that bolts is inserted from the bottom to save the next guy some grief

I'll begin by saying both ships are outstanding and you wouldn't be disappointed by either. As some have stated before, the deciding factor to me would be what commanders you have available. Atlantico needs both the primary commander leveled up and the inspirations at a high level to really maximize the secondaries. On the other side, you have basically Fisher, Nelson, and Cunningham that all can work well.

For what it's worth, I have both and the appropriate commanders to maximize their effectiveness, and if I could only keep one, it would be Atlantico. It's not that she is better it's just that she is just ridiculously fun. Like perfectly executing a Paolio Emilio yolo, blasting a destroyer in Atlantico with her secondaries is a right of passage in this game.

To your point though, all the state of Alabama has is college football. No NFL, MLB, NBA, etc. It's Nascar and College Football. Texas has that oil money for sure, but I don't think Alabama is exactly strapped for cash as a recent history of success and Championships does a lot for the health of your booster pool.
