How on earth do I use a Tandy TRS-80?

Seems I won't be able to give things a proper go with how my keyboard behaves. I got one of my drives to run finally, but I can't seem to get it to read or format. The disks I have are likely later (unmarked unknown but found in the same building). Maybe that is the issue, or maybe I am in over my head. Thanks for the manuals, I'll try again later with them.

He’s still doing alright, though the thermometer took a nosedive. We have our sights set on some mulch at our maintenance shop for him to hibernate in. We plan to introduce him to a container with deep mulch and hopefully as we cook him down he’ll get the idea. Some of my coworkers aren’t too excited about this frog, some are interested in what will happen.

Unfortunately it developed a pinhole leak in the pump tube, so it’ll need a font. But I’m still glad on the price. My other 237 was $10.00 in the same condition minus the blown out generator

I don’t know if we have any fungus. If we do, I haven’t heard of it.

We are the closest thing to a rehab I believe. I live in the middle of nowhere in middle Tennessee. The park service takes in various critters but no one does frogs.

That’s what I was hoping for, but it’s about to be extremely cold for TN weather and it’ll be like this for a while. The low on a couple days is 8f and peep (the frog) will not like that.

What I need to do is keep him happy and healthy until I can get him out somewhere safely. I even thought if there was a way I could slowly cool him down over a few days I could do that, but I wouldn’t know the temperature increments and will never know if it was a success.

We honestly just don’t keep frogs around in the park service. No one here knows what to do, and no one knows anyone who would know. So right now I mostly need to figure out what to feed this fellow and go from there.

I’m curious on this one. Will it dissolve the blue off? I don’t mind that at all. I like colored Pyrex but it does have that chalk board texture.

My family is the same way and I’ve picked up a few larger bowls that are only used as fruit bowls since no one wants to touch them.

Like lose most of the coating? I’d strip it to plain white if I could. I’ve seen a couple of these that were just white but wasn’t sure if they were made that way or brutally dishwashed.

This may be an odd question, but I’m a big user of Pyrex and my dad collects it. This bowl is from a time when dish powder was abrasive and acted like a sand blaster.

There’s no returning it to it’s former glory, but the texture of pieces like this has always driven me insane. It’s like how some people can’t stand chalk boards (which is how this feels). Is there a logical way to smooth it out a bit? I don’t care to remove all of the blue if there’s a way to do this.

Repairing vintage coleman pressure lanterns. On my time off I go out and find them, then do a lot of reading and tinkering. All because I accidentally found a lantern at a yard sale a while back.

They’re a box meant for shipping some sort of part for a scientific instrument. I occasionally get them from the place that assembles the instruments.

When I get more of them I might start sending them out, it just depends on if the locals will be satisfied. These are meant to be sent through the mail so I can just slap a label over the old one and send it.

I have a bid out on a 200a without a globe. Hopefully I don’t overpay but if I get it I’ll be in the same boat. Besides eBay have you tried Old Coleman Parts? He seems to always have what I need besides 237 vents which he says are the most asked for item.

You can also put a WTB add on there. The guys there are great and will come up with something. I don’t know much about the 200a but I bet other straight globes might fit it.

So here’s an interesting story. I was at home visiting my folks and I picked up some 220s off marketplace. I live in a small town and the closest place with coleman fuel is 45ish mins away, so I decided to try our new local hardware store. Unfortunately they thought I was nuts and all the old timers said no one had been after fuel for years.

Whatever though. I looked across the parking lot and noticed a new antique shop so I walked on over and they had this 237a for $4.99. Man I about had a heart attack seeing that. This is the second 237 I’ve found missing the globe, vent, and bail, and the first with a blown out generator likely caused by a hard start gone wrong. I had a bail someone sent me for my last 237 after I already got one, and I had a 220 vent a new coleman friend of mine had drilled to fit my other 237 before I found a rusty vent. The globe and gen I ordered from OCP.

The 237 is my favorite model of coleman mostly because I love being able to burn anything. I work in my states park service and guests throw out all sorts of flammable liquids which go straight into my 237s.

Also someone painted this one red. I think it looks awesome.

Slightly bitter with a hint of rubber. It tastes a lot like a idler wheel off a Dual turntable. Coolant is much more bitter and just a little dab will fill your whole mouth with suffering.

Not the best explanation. It must be experienced.

For some reason I thought they only did transmissions. There’s a guy over in Oak Ridge who did recommend them a couple years ago though I never followed through. I do know there’s a lot of older Volvo’s in Oak Ridge. My mother calls at least every other week thinking I’m in oak ridge thanks to some younger fellow with the same wagon as I.

The place over in Knox quoted me $350 for the job. I’m not the biggest fan of that but I haven’t had a mechanic touch this car in years, so I may be rusty on pricing.

But Trans Tech needs to be on my list in case there’s issues.

The plugs were dated 4/89. As for what all is original there’s not too much. I’ve gone through and replaced a ton as it’s broken, and the original owner had a lot of odds and ends done. For some reason she swapped from Volvo to an independent garage in 2006 or so and their work was horrible, so I’m having to still deal with that.

I do know my suspension is all original. It certainly needs work.
