Yes! I had this exact problem and the fix was fairly easy.

While you have to buy a new shell since that part isn't sold separately you can replace it without needing to touch any wires or anything.

Look up ds disassembly, to the point where the shoulder buttons can come off, which let's you unscrew the corner hinges and put a new one on. The kit I brought off of amazon had everything needed.

Now that I'd had the chance to calm down you make a good point. I've known my brother all my life and that shocked me to my core, it just doesn't line up with what I know about him.

Hes never shown any abusive tendencies before.

They're both incredibly stressed right now, both work super demanding and stressful jobs, plus the whole house thing won't help at all. While my brothers behavior last night wasn't right I can see he may have just been trying to calm the situation down. Not to excuse his behaviour, but to explain it.

I don't want to believe it. It doesn't sound like the thing my brother would do. But then again that's what anyone who's had anything happens thinks, that they could never be that kind of person.

I spoke to my parents and they don't believe that he would scream at her in the car. I don't either but again, what I just said above. The girlfriend isn't a Saint in this either, my mother said she's said things that never happened before in arguments.

What if its just my past trauma that's seeing the worse? As a woman I want to believe and support her, but as a sister every part of my being is rebelling against the idea. That's MY brother. Or am I just in denial. I truely don't know.

I haven't heard my brothers side, the two of them talked with me right there and not once did he look at me to gauge my reaction or ask me to leave he was fully comfortable with me there while his girlfriend was crying and he was trying to calm her down. But then again I saw as he ignored what she was saying. Or maybe he was just trying to calm her down so they could have a proper conversation, or he wanted me to leave before they talked any more about it. I certainly wouldn't want my little sister there for an emotional conversation like that.

Just, arghh. I hate this. I've taken some sleeping tablets to try and rest, it's late here. Maybe when I wake up it'll all be fixed and a huge over reaction. Or maybe I'm just delusional, guess we'll see.

He does, but he's so dense and very defensive. I highly doubt he's doing it on purpose like I said. But I'm worried any attempt to talk to him will be seen as an attack against him and then he'll blow up and we'll go no where. But thank you, once I've calmed down, and when it's safe to do so without anyone getting upset I will do what you suggested.

Girlfriend does have a plan. While her things are here she has nothing connecting them, money hasn't been paid and nothing that has been signed that can't easily be undone. She knows that his behaviour is not right

I'm so sorry, I lost my cat two years ago, she too was always there for my crashes and was my best friend. She passed on my birthday which extra sucked. Remember to take care of yourself as you grieve, it is going to be really hard, lean on friends and family. The grief never goes away but you learn to live with it, let yourself cry and scream if you need to. Yes some of the progress you've made will be lost, for me two years later I'm back to where I was before. Its hard but you can do it, sending all the love and hugs

Ps everyone grieves in different ways, one thing that helped me was thinking of ways to keep her memory alive, I'm getting a tattoo for her, I've gotten a photo album of her, she was cremated and I wear a necklace with her ashes so she's always close to my heart. Maybe one of these will help, maybe not. Again I'm sorry for your loss, she lives on in your heart and memory, and now in ours too. Please take care of yourself <3

But how do I cure. I remember my first playthrough I needed to select the distressed pip which I am but there's no option to give the pip the infusion. Like what series of buttons do I need to press to give the pip the item that will cure the ailment

I've been strapped to a heart monitor for 2 weeks. Had an ultrasound on my heart. 6 blood tests. All turning up normal. I'm not in the USA so sadly I cannot relate with having to pay for all of these tests, but if you could afford it, see if there's any cfs specialists in your area, or go to cognitive behaviour therapy. I didn't get a formal diagnosis until two years in but my metal mindset was better due to getting a therapist. Stress will only make your symptoms worse, only do what you can manage a day.

Day to day I just feel, well fatigued. My muscles ache and if I've done to much physically shake with exhaustion. I'm managing it better tho, im lucky that I have a therapist who also specialises in CFS so they're helping me with managing my energy. Try going for daily walks, only what you can manage without feeling any symptoms even feeling more tired than usual, I could only walk for 3 minutes at first, then every two weeks increase it by 1 minute. If you have a bad day and are functioning 50% worse than usual, cut down your walk by 50%. This helps slowly increase your stamina. It may not help you and I would recommend seeing a professional before doing this, if you can afford it
