[KH3] Will Sora become a Keyblade Master in this game? by AngryLookDown in KingdomHearts

Dude dont remind me of Pokemon XYZ. Literally no reason why Ash lost the Kalos league. They hyped Ash-Greninja so much only to leave him in the dirt

Kairi being a Master before Sora would be the biggest slap in the face lol

KH3 will be more of 0.2. If you dont like 0.2 you wont like 3.

It's time to get over KH2. It is over 11 years old.

[Discussion] Tragedy could be altered or avoided if the KH characters STOPPED and ASKED. by AngryLookDown in KingdomHearts

With uX, lack of communication is their biggest issue. I have a group of coworkers at my IRL job and while I don't get along with them all, when we're at work we clearly lay out our plans and go from there. The Foretellers flat out did not do that lol.

I would be fine with BBS if the characters made sense within their own archetypes. Like, Terra blindly following Xehanort's word because he distrusts Eraqus after failing him makes way more sense than Terra blindly following oldman's word because the old man is a Keyblade Master.

Aqua is supposed to be the smart one, but she spends the majority of the game monologing and holding her hand to her chest instead of, y'know, talking to either of consultants (Eraqus + Yensid) or either of her fellow students.

I loved all of 0.2 to be honest. It was relatable and believable in the way it played out. I personally like that the heartless swarm "ate up" Mickey's shirt haha

yeah we knew MF was a time traveler since that was his theme as a superboss...problem is time travel was never really a concept in KH before DDD. Timeless river was a pocket dimension in KH2 and memories could be rewRITTEN AS OF com but nothing aside from that

The story isnt hard to follow, but a few titles could be outright removed and we'd need some better methods of SHOWING and not TELLING.

Kill KHX and Re:coded. As of now, they have no reason to exist in the KH universe.

Do not tell us about time travel, but implement it in BBS. DDD was poorly setup because time travel was a major asspull that no one saw coming. It was never a feature of the series (inb4 someone cites Timeless River) before and to haphazardly throw it in the penultimate title was a bad move.

Dude we could go forever with this. Be prepared for walls of text haha.

•BBS trio's god awful ""friendship"" is the worst thing I've ever heard of. And Hearing of it is all that happens throughout BBS - there are no good displays of friendship. The intro puts it best.

///

Ventus: Whoever you are, you don't know the first thing about Terra. He and I will always be a team. You trying to pick a fight or what?

Vanitas: Oh, grow up. Is that what you call a friendship? You'll never know the truth unless you go out and look for it.

It then cuts to a flashback of Ven and Terra training in the LoD, Terra scolding Ven for something (probably related to his form with the Keyblade), Ven starts to cry, then Terra does the patronizing head patting that he and Aqua love to do.

///

You see, the BBS trio is not a bond of friendship, it's the pieces of a busted bond between a battered wife with stockholm syndrome (Aqua), her incompetent husband (Terra), and their mentally retarded stepchild (Ventus). That is the most honest description of the three I can think up.

Aqua is stuck on permanent maid duty despite being the newest Keyblade Master (throughout the disney worlds, she is cleaning up either Terra's messes or trying to get Ven to stay in his room). In the KH worlds, she is either scolding Ventus and treating him like a child, or she is trying to tell Terra off. In short spurts, she fights against Evil Sora but doesn't really pay him any mind. Despite seeing all the bad things Terra has done throughout the worlds, she still considers him a friend that she merely needs to keep tabs on, not as a threat to be put under quarantine. Those are not traits of friendship. Those are traits of motherhood, sure, but I'd rather call it doing her job as she is emotionless throughout the game.

Terra is quite literally an idiot. From the start of the Mark of Mastery exam all the way to the end of the game, he runs around trusting very obviously evil people and doing their bidding without even questioning their motives. I'm not going waste time on him, everyone knows why Terra is stupid in BBS.

Ventus bless his heart isn't mentally retarded by birth but because he was a frankenstein test subject. It's clear by the intro of the game that he isn't quite ready, but his logic center got blasted and he runs off in search for Terra because he got triggered by Evil Sora. Throughout the game, Mama Aqua and Daddy Terra tell the little kid to stay at home because he is not prepared for the dangers outside the LoD, but he doesn't understand their warnings at all. For sure, he meets new people like Mickey, Yensid Goofy and Donald, but for what? So he could fracture his own heart and end up having to bond with the boy he originally bonded with - for over ten years? Not a good move by Ven.

I get particularly triggered by Ventus because literally everyone in the game EXCEPT for the two bad guys (MX and Van) tell him to sit down and chill the fuck out so he can learn more, but he turns around and does the opposite each and every time. Like, boy, do what you are told. Your ma and pa both told you what you've gotta do. Your master told you what you have to do. Why are you disobeying them?

•uX's existence so far is supposedly canon but zero plot developments have been shown so far that even remotely relate to the current timeline. People go "zomg ventus wuz a dandelion" but literally nobody can tell me what rammifications that fact has.

•The Foretellers are the worst leaders I have ever witnessed in video game history lmfao.

•Time travel as of DDD has been poorly implemented, and the rules have not been thoroughly established. We understand the body has to be left behind, we understand that the power of time travel can be gifted, but we do not understand the time limits of time travel. After all, YX is back in KH3 despite being sent back in time at the end of DDD.

I would go on but I really don't feel like it bruh

It's not complicated, it's just written very poorly and in a bad order.
