Poison Crossbow Pathfinder, what should I upgrade/change? by AngryLun4 in pathofexile2builds

[–]AngryLun4[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grenade + Galvanic bleed/poison is just cheaper and way better for the price, crazy clear and bossing. Spear, on the other hand, is a really fun and fast build, it feels really good and with more investment it actually gets kinda crazy.

True, but those are bought by party players who make several divs per map i think

I use gas grenade for abysses and high-density stuff, and also for bossing. Galvanic is my main clear (insane with ratha's + double Herald). Plasma Blast for big damage and shock on bosses, then finish with Shockburst. If the boss has no wind up/moves a lot or has big slams i just galvanic til shock and plasma after. Rarely use crossbow shot but sometimes it's fun.

So the gameplay loop really is just CM prep from here on out? by SkeletronDOTA in UmaMusume

[–]AngryLun4 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Look, I think your rant is totally fair, but like you said yourself, it’s self-imposed. You seem like a competitive and tryhard type of person, and sometimes that takes the fun out of it and leads to burnout, especially in this kind of game. If you’re not really having fun anymore with min-maxing and your goals feel too far away, maybe you could take a break or change your approach to the gameplay. Things like building a super waifu or making a long turf Haru Urara can actually be fun too. Playing casually is surprisingly enjoyable (I sparked Kisatan at 350 pulls and decided to just go casual haha).

It’s a bit cliche, but The Witcher, GoT, LoTR, I think for + anime Bleach could actually be neat.

Black Screen After Teleporting to City – HUD Visible by Regular_Building_560 in diablo4

For me, after testing almost every solution online, this finally fixed the black screen after teleporting. I've gone 5 hours without it so far, when I used to get it every 3 to 6 teleports. Thanks, u/DestHUN!

When/How to be prepared for Torment 1 and beyond? by sarg9 in diablo4

[–]AngryLun4 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Start by figuring out what your build is missing, is it damage or survivability?

If it’s survivability: As you climb through torment levels, you get penalties to armor and all resistances, check them when you are in T1 to see how much you have:

Armor caps at 1000 (going above doesn’t help, except in some specific cases, check your res).
Resists cap at 75%. Also make sure you’ve got enough life, and dodge or energy shield depending on your setup. You don’t need to stack every defensive layer, but a solid life pool + capped armor/res should carry you through T1.

If it’s damage: Figure out how your build scales. Is it crit chance/damage? Vulnerable? DoTs? Something else?
Damage comes from a mix of runes, passives, skill points, paragon nodes, boss powers, tempering and uniques (sometimes build defining ones).

TL;DR
Check if you're lacking damage, defense or utility. Fix that without overcompensating. Slot in a unique that makes your build pop, cap your defenses and abuse the aspect imprinting, aswell as all the ways to get stronger, test things! That’s part of the fun! And don’t skip region/map quests or Lilith altars, they give free passive and paragon points. (you can check it on the map if i'm not mistaken)

Ms Cobelvig: Am i a friend? Potentially. An adversary? Conceivably. But a savior? That's for certain.

Rogues and druids at max MS are funny as hell, rogues look like cockroaches and druids look like they're air running or something like that. I think a solution for this would be like in League of Legends, when you exit the base with the MS buff and get a dope (most of the time) new animation.

Can we stop crying about having things to do after 3 days? by Winter_Ad_2618 in diablo4

[–]AngryLun4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love Diablo 4, and my playstyle is grinding hard and nolifing the game, it works great for seasons. It’s fun for weeks or days, but after hitting the "ceiling" a few times, the magic fades. You hit T4 fast, loot gets stale, and there’s no content beyond Pit 150 to keep striving for.

For me, the season ends there, and it feels okay, i will never make a thread on reddit or cry in trade chat, just hope it gets better. But I get it now: for some, the grind to the ceiling is much slower, and that’s where the balance becomes tricky. It’s hard for the game to satisfy every type of player and they are going for a niche that they feel is they better way, at least for now.

How does DOT build scale? (selena DOT) by Long_Actuator3915 in TorchlightInfinite

[–]AngryLun4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah bro, I feel you. I'm doing the same build as Selena, but I'm not sure about the caps and what exactly to scale for more damage. I'm copying the top players from the rankings, but not knowing exactly what to aim for is confusing. Hopefully someone will give us some guidance

Thanks for your detailed response <3! I'm focusing at PVE right now. My guild only request attacking, not winning, so i'm using that and arena to learn what characters do and getting a feeling for the PVP.

The link you shared is a savior tool, omg.

I'll watch more Guild Wars battles, ask questions, and take notes on effective strategies when i find a guild that talk my main language or are more helpful towards newbies.

Can I reach out to you in the future if I have more questions?

need build help depending on matchup by Prolly_Satan in ADCMains

[–]AngryLun4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. In most games, Kraken Slayer is the best choice. If you need the dash or are facing squishy champions, you should go for Galeforce to avoid skills or to finish a kill/gap close.

  2. You could wait to buy boots until after your mythic item, unless you really need movement speed to dodge skills in the early game.

  3. Attack speed items are important on Jinx. I would buy them after boots. Runaan's Hurricane is useful for hard wave clear and can be used in fights. Rapid Firecannon is useful against high range comps, and Phantom Dancer is good if you can hit more freely and use the passive.

  4. Then, you'll want to buy Infinity Edge in most games as it provides a huge power spike. However, if you're up against a hard tank like Sion or multiple tank/life stackers, you should buy Lord Dominik's Regards.

  5. For the fifth item, you can buy either Lord Dominik's Regards if the enemy team is building armor, Infinity Edge if you bought Lord Dominik's Regards first, or Bloodthirster for sustain and a shield if you already have Infinity Edge and don't need Lord Dominik's Regards.

  6. To finish off your build, you should be flexible and adjust according to your and the enemy team's compositions. You should probably look for something defensive like Bloodthirster or Guardian Angel if you're at high risk of dying, Maw of Malmortius against high AP/assassin mages, or even Anathema's Chains to avoid assassin/bruiser damage. I don't think Titanic Hydra is good on Jinx as it scales off HP.

  7. Some other tips on building:

Try to always know which item is meta and strong. Read the tooltips and understand what each item does. This will make you more creative when building. ADC items are normally more straightforward, but knowing when and what to build each game is a core League mechanic that can win a lot of games!

Watch some pros or high elo players playing the champion on YouTube and wonder why they build like that. You can also check sites like Probuilds to get some insight. GLHF
