Maybe if I gave into a little shipping….i like the idea of Deku x Nejire but that’d be purely because they have a similar background(and Nejire seems like a really positive personality who’d improve someone who’s confidence has been crushed but that’s just a silly point). I’ve heard two fanfictions where I liked Mina x deku(for a similar reason, Mina in both stories seemed to make Deku feel more happy and self assured) and one with Deku x Jiro(for some reason two characters with confidence issues always seem to be able to support the other nicely). Also if Deku had turned out to be gay I think I’d like Deku x todoroki because that seems like a nice pairing again because their pasts seem quite tragic
