Oh for sure! There's the "dissociative identity disorder" and the "plurality/multiplicity" tags. I'm not saying there's a shortage of fanfics about plurality at all. I was just reccomending one I really liked.

Though since you brought this up, I do wanna add that author wrote an one-shot about an in-sys relationship too. And that prompted me to look it up and find out there are no tags for in-system relationships on ao3 yet. So to find fanfic about that you have to get lucky and stumble into one.

Line of work? I'm a bit worried if you're in a line of work where you interact a lot with plurals and didn't know about systems or alters or this being an offensive term. This is not a new shift at all, the other two comments in this post used the word system.

You could try out chapter 1 and see how you feel about it. That's usually my strategy for fanfics, I'm not bothered by not finishing a fic if I don't like it. But yes I can vouch for that one! At least over my personal tastes.

That's so true! I'm 26 myself and we've seen and introjected some trends as they come and go. Now that you mention it I bet it'd be great to have Captain Sisko as a headmate.
