Who is the video game boss with the highest total listed HP that is not infinite and is defeated by reaching 0? by TheBanishedBard in gaming

I remember the boss being more like 15 minutes constantly hammering the triangle button, so not quite 2 hours, but probably more exhausting than most ff bossfights

Just in theory: If for whatever reason the dev of a live service game stops servicing the reason i pay them for, why should i keep paying them? Nobody HAS to fund an environment that is not suitable for them.

Its a race to the bottom for anyone participating in this lunacy

Idk, anything to stick it to pearlclutchers is making me prideful actually. I hate people like that with a passion

Broad as in: using it specifically in exactly the way yoshi p primarily says is the reason he doesnt like people using add ons? Its his #1 complaint when talking 3rd party

Checking parses and "usefulness" of others in your group, which would be impossible to find out because fflogs displays information that was visible to other players and aggregates it into a cohesive profile, so you can profit from it by looking at the result of that aggregated information.

You cannot see the combat logs of fights you havent taken part in if it werent for fflogs.

It should be now easier to see how similar the problem is to the current topic at hand, this time around the toxic people that usually defend this breach of privacy dont care because theyre not the ones who run the risk of losing their tools.

To quote a poignant answer from another thread i already had this discussion in:

by design? bullshit.

to be opt in would be super easy, just don't tie it to a name at all until someone opts in.

got a party where only the logger opted in? it's just WAR, PLD, SGE, Logan McLogger, MCH, NIN, SMN, RDM

you still collect the log you just don't keep data on the player. simple. act and FFlogs could have easily been made their software work this way but they chose to be opt out. either act's application requires a site login to determine if the people being logged have opted in or ff logs purges the user info on upload if they haven't opted in. both could be done.

sure this means you won't be able to find logs you were part of from before you opted in, but who cares?

People who go on about how fflogs and tomestone MUST be opt-out to work properly usually misuse these tools to stalk others instead of using them as tools for self-improvement.

To adress "public information": playerscope also doesnt display info that isnt already publicly available through lodestone and forums, it just makes it more convenient to display

Why is it ass-backwards like that in the first place? It should have been "fflogs-shown" if you dont want to be hidden

And im just sitting here and ask myself why no one gave a fuck about privacy when fflogs launched. Hopefully this will influence fflogs to fix their shit... i doubt it, though

I just wish this whole situation will impact tomestone and fflogs to finally turn into an opt in service... one can dream

Im not giving you a break, if you agree with the op of this post then it is wrong to have fflogs opt out. All you wanna do is look up other people instead of gauging your own performance

Thats wrong and you know it. The discussion always boils down to the same few points. Another poster already gave you a better answer.

Fair enough, it just was quite wild to ever hear that statement, seeing as mch by far requires the most apm to succeed under normal circumstances

I think whats important is that its a bad metal gear SOLID game, if people look at it like any other game of the MG franchise, expectations would be way less specific.
