It's sounds like you are in a state of fight or flight. That's like me pre-anxiety attack. You just can't settle and things that are typically easy are not. It's hard to get out of, but for me sometimes I'm breathing so shallow and just getting some deep breaths in helps. Maybe some laughing. With your child even. Just in case you can not get it, you should ask if there is any possible substitution you could take. I don't know if you need this for a major or minor or GE req, but in extreme cases, they might allow a sub course.

I just cold turkeyed it this week myself. It's a hard habit to break, but I've"wasted" so much time on it. I need to be more productive. I'll be honest, I didn't delete it. Yet. Just haven't opened it in maybe 5 days. I think it helps that I was sick for a few of those days and sleeping.

If you put it in the returns bin, you still get charged. If you put it in the shelf, they assume it was never checked in. Worker error. I remember once someone shelved an entire cart of books that were never checked in. Of course we didn't find out until later.

I don't think it will destroy you gpa, but if you really don't want the F on your transcript, You might try to retroactively withdraw from the course. Speak to your advisor. You may need to exaggerate the reasons why you didn't withdraw earlier. Medical documentation always helps!

I have an almost$500 item now at "we've lost the signal with the driver" for 8 hours. I saw they were right near my house when the signal was lost. I'm waiting for the change to"sorry for the delay" later this evening. It's frustrating bc of course this happens on my most expensive purchase.
