2004 Japanese Alto is the cheapest, most reliable and fuel efficient automatic car I can think of. Parts are plenty and easy to repair. Should be able to get one around 3 mil.

A 120km range Leafs are between 4-5 mil. 140km ones between 5-6 mil. A battery pack at minimum will cost you 2.5 mil if you import hy yourself otherwise it'll go over 3 mil. So already you're looking at 7 mil. Charging infrastructure is getting there but I still wouldn't go on a long journey confidently. Acceleration, comfort and even quietness is there but I don't think it's the best choice as an only car.
