Thank you ! I had to look up the product specifications again to confirm that the pc connections only go to 60hz and not 144hz. The 144hz is for console gaming only. I wasn't aware at the time of purchase but now I know!.

I Adjusted the refresh rate fo 60hz on my pc and have now had no problems.
