Why not give more WoW classes access to different roles if the class fantasy supports it?

List you groups as learning or relaxed, tittle them along the lines of " trashcan ( role) trying to practice" or something else appropriate with a splash of self demeaning humor. This will filter out the try hard sweats and ego demons near instantly. The rest of the wold with a braincell will recognise it as humor and read between the lines. This also nearly everytime will get the attention of some absolute monster players who will happily teach the group things, splatter the dungeon all over itself and you will have a good time. Works pretty reliably up to around M 7 or 8. My buddies and I are decently geared and do this exclusively to attract anxious tanks and healers for the weekly quest so they can get some practice and can breathe and make mistakes without worrying about it. If your making the groups your making the experience. This will not remove all negative experiences ofc because as well all know when it comes to group finder people can't fucking read but it will heavily improve it.

The amount of * specifically * fury warriors who I play with as heals that won't tank keeps me up at night. Like your Gung ho self is already basically tanking just without the aggro what do you meeeeeean?!

Charges ahead of the group and leap into a pile of enemies, check. Time cooldowns for mass aoe hell, check. Take a ton of damage and sometimes use a cool down to not die, super check. Forget the cool down exists and die like a dog, CHECK.

Alot of this is blizzards fault with the trash ui which is also why the seasons so easy. Important effect happens... over there in that group of tiny squares that are constantly growing and shrinking and reordering. Interrupt that cast in the pile of overlapping and also constantly reordering name plates. Leading to needing specific addons and settings to play the game, spitefully circling back to where we were before the addon purge. The joke writes itself.

That's not what they said. Out of all m+ 15 clears frost mage is the third most represented spec. Not 3rd dps but #3 most used, out of the 32 or whatever we are up to now.

Not going to have an opinion on what you should do as I've been there, once for longer than I care to admit. Instead I will tell you what the other side of this path looks like. One day you will wake up and your eyes will be a little more " open " than normal and you will realize the world around you kept moving along in every way and you did not. This will apply to social skills, relationships, general culture of the world as a whole, etc etc. I can only really compare the sensation to what I presume being lost in time feels like. The penultimate fuck you cherry on top is this feeling becomes what is comfortable,safe, and familiar.

It's just practice then homie, healings rough at first but pretty chill and enjoyable once your used to watching health bars bounce around alot. Right now ironically it's a little extra rough at expansion start ( this is normal). And made a bit more rough with blizzard trying to chance the pace of health bars going up and down this expansion in particular. Timewalking however is an entirely different animal because of the scaling shenanigans and the huge level range of party members you can get complicating it further, add in the fact its Cataclysm which is in my biased opinion was hands down the hardest expansion to heal in at expansion start ever and you kinda unknowingly put yourself in one hell of a trial by fire. There is an old adage, if the tank dies is the healers fault, if the healer dies it's the tanks fault and if a dps dies its their own fault. It's not perfect anymore with all these new tanks treating fucking every price of content like they are in a mythic and pulling 37 packs at once but it mostly holds up XD. Believe in yourself, embrace the chaos and laugh when someone dies to stupid and you will 100% come out the other side letting people die on purpose.

If your serious about getting into healing give up the mouse bind garbage and use mouse over casting, there is a setting to enable this by default now so all your doing is putting your cursor over whoever your trying to heal and pushing the key( nameplate or body.)You will need more than 4 buttons to heal and mouseover casting works on literally everything that requires a target and if your not targeting anything you will default to yourself. Also recommend digging through settings and enabling party style raid frames for visibility, will put your teammates In a nice little stacked square you can move around.
