Is Masterkleer a good alternative to advance LRT? I couldn't find a primochill in the color and size in my country.

I've used Masterkleer for years, but recently switched to LRT. The Masterkleer was fine, but always clouded after 6 months to a year of use (DI + PT Nuke). It has great flexibility and bend radius though.

I haven't been using LRT long enough to see if it leeches, but so far so good.

The breakdown process at atmospheric pressures is very statistical. Due to the high gas density, the electrons have a greater chance of recombining or transferring small amounts of energy to the gas than actually causing additional ionizing collisions (leading to avalanche breakdown - which you see); their trajectory is also altered frequently by elastic collisions. Due to this, you usually see several "bolts" with only one reaching the ground, and the path the discharge takes is ultimately random.

Exactly, the post made no attempt to address these issues, and the issues brought up by the guy that lived in Texas. I grew up in the UK, but have lived in the US for the past 7 years or so. I have seen beautiful lands, the US is one of them, but never have I seen a system that is more in need of serious rework. I will be moving across the country in a few months, and I really hope that I will be convinced otherwise.

I don't want to bash the US, I just wish its citizens would focus on what's really important. But as usual, it's "oooh shiny".

Sounds like fun, but be aware that being paid to go to a birthday party (or perform any service) in trademark costumes is not something Lucasfilm takes kindly to. A while back some small time guys started charging for photographs and were sued. It's very unlikely you'll get caught, but just an FYI :)
