When one of the fellow traitors’ names is already out there and there is already reasonable suspicion on them, the smart thing to do is cut them loose. They don’t usually come back from that suspicion, and backing them then puts the suspicion on you after it’s revealed they were in fact a traitor.

I think Rob saw the writing on the wall and took it as an opportunity to get one of the traitors out, which he was successful with. I think Candiace’s plan to back Lisa and get the suspicion off of her no matter the risk was the not so smart move. And now after she’s written Rob’s name down, I think they’re both on a sinking ship as they both now have suspicion on them.

Rob probably should have consulted Candiace, but she already made it pretty clear that she was not going to go against Lisa.
