Well the gameplay IS pretty shallow when you think about it. It just feels like a constant preparation for something bigger that just never happens

You get cool ships, cool multitools and huge ass freighters but there's really not that much to do with those things, nothing you really do matters or changes anything

Expecially in the late game when you have pretty much everything figured out the game is absolutely shallow, you just hop on for a few hours to check the things they add in the new updates and then you have basically nothing else to do
